I love my Leica 1600. It consistantly ranges animals at 1800+ My best friend is looking to buy a new range finder, but he can not afford a Leica He needs something that can range 800+ without having to push the button a hundred times to get an accurate reading. Any suggestions? Adam

I'm considering becoming a member of Phoenix Rod & Gun Club, but I have a few questions. I'm interested in joining, because they do not require you to shoot any matches to be able to use the 500 yard range. My question is this. How often is the 500 yard range available for members to practice? I was told the range is open to members after each 500 yard match until the end of the day. Is that true? I don't want to join if the range if it's not going to be availalbe when I need it. Thanks, Adam

Kidso is the man! He also takes very sexy Bear pictures:) Understanding Bears takes time. I highly recommend calling the Bear Biologist for that unit and ask a lot of questions. They have a lot of good intel to share. Find a good water source and sit all day. I have seen more Bears from 12-dark than in the mornings. If the Bears are eating akorns they will water several times a day. Good luck Adam

I'm looking for a nice stock for my Savage Model 10 308 heavy fluted barrel gun. I'm leaning toward a HS Precison Stock, but would consider a nice thumb hole laminated stock. Adam

Be very carefull and do not make a rash decesion. You don't know if that person stole the camera or if someone else did. Leave a not and see what happens. Be the better man and lead by example! Adam

That's a really nice looking gun. Wish I had the money! I'm sure someone will be very happy with it. Have you tried listing it on Backpage? Adam -
I'll take it!

I'm very sorry to hear that! Did you set it on the bumper, hood or tailgate? I lost an Orvis 1wt fly($700) rod 8 years ago on the Apache rez by setting it on the back bumper of my truck. Never saw it again. I will hopefully never make that mistake again. I would call a few out door shops in that area to get the word out. Good Luck! Adam

I scout as soon as I know I have a tag. Not for animals, but for new area's and to get to know the land. Water can be very important that time of year. I would spend as much time possible finding as many springs and trails as possible. The more you know about your hunting area the better off you will be. Either way I'm sure you will have a lot of fun.
