I'm not sure what I'm willing to pay. The problem is the mounts are for my kids so I will probably pay more than I would normaly pay for myself. Adam

I will always carry the Havalon & Razor Blaze knife's in my pack. Like most of you I love the Havalon knife, but I hate how fragile the blade can be when you twist it. The Razor knife has finally solved that problem. I recently purchased the Razor Blaze and have been trying it out. I love it! It fits really well into my hand, it's not heavy & you don't have to sharpen it. I have tried it on a lot of Dove, Squirrel's & steaks. So far it seems like a great knife, but the true test will be ketting it into an Elk. Adam

You could write something regarding benefits for part time wild land fire fighters. It might help people become more aware of the issues. Adam

I'm sure your hot spot will be Awesome as soon as the weather hits! I'm not expecting much this weekend. As long as we can find some squirrel's we will be happy. I would love to find some Duck's for my son, but if not we will have plenty of squirrel's & rabbits to shoot at. Adam -
Very nice! I would love to see the field pics too!

Bears do not move a lot during the Spring. Water & Grass is the key to spring Bear hunting. Most Bears will spend 98% of their time in deep dark canyon's eating grass. They can be very, very difficult to find. Your best luck will be walking as many canyon's as possible to look for fresh sign. Once you have found some good sign you should sit water as it get's hotter or use a predator call. The August/October hunt is a lot easier, because the Bears move a lot more looking for food or water. Most people sit water in August for Bears. While sitting water you can shoot Deer, Bear, Turkey & Mt. Lion in most unit's. Either way you will have a lot of fun. Adam

I would advise getting the O/C rifle tag or waiting for the Aug/Oct hunt! The spring hunt can and usually is extremely difficult. Be advised that Bear hunting is very addicting!!!!!!!!!!! Adam

You can wait until the hunt get's closer!

I stopped using camera's because I was concerned I would kill someone if I had another one stolen. Losing a camera is very disappointing, depressing and stressful. Using camera's was a really fun hobby for me and my friends, but after having numerous camera's stolen I couldn't handle the stress any more. I used to put a lot of time, money and gas into each set up. After walking up to the tree to find the camera gone, I felt like I was going to have a heart attack from the stress and anger. I finally realized it wasn't worth the stress. I really miss looking at all the new pictures, but I don't miss the anger I felt after having one stolen. I HATE CAMERA THIEVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Who's still looking to harvest their Bull in 22!
Big Browns replied to ragingpointoutfitters's topic in Elk Hunting
I want to praise Speedygoss for all of his hard work and hunting ethics! After shooting the Bull on Saturday morning he has spent over 35 hours walking the area looking for his Bull. He has done everything right! I am very impressed with his dedication. I wish more people would put that amount of work into finding wounded animals. Great job and keep the faith! Adam
