A lot of the rut depends on the unit your hunting. The deer in the northern units usually start rutting earlier than the southern units. Either way you have a great tag. Your going to have fun! What unit did you draw? Adam

It's fine as long as you are respectfull of other hunters. If you know there is a hunter in the area I would try to stay far away. If you use sound judgment and a little common sence you should be fine.

Hunting within city limits is legal, but you can not discharge a firearm unless you are 1/4 mile from a building. A bow is not considered a firearm. You would have been completely legal. I live in Queen Creek. I take my kids to a wash within walking distance of our house. We kill rabbits all the time. My neighbors are used to seeing us walk home with dead animals:) Adam

Even if the animal was taken legaly the perosn did not take any meat.
