Best advise is to have a very long 45 min+ loop. You generally need to call for a long time for Bears & Lions. The longer the loop the better!

No rifle spring hunt, but 23 does have a archery spring tag. Very low success so I highly doubt very many sows were killed.

The BR2 rangefinder allows you to put in your guns actual ballistic information. This ensures the information is specific to your gun. The Leica is a great rangefinder, but it only allows you to pick from several ballistic curves. The info is usually close, but not close enough to make consistent long range shots. You will still need to use ballistic software to ensure accurate long range shots. The BR2 makes for easy, quick long range shooting. The rangefinder is only as good as the info you put into it. It's not magic! With a little range time you can ensure extreme long range accuracy. Adam

I don't think it was corialis, because when I thought about it I remember the gun was shooting a little right the last time I shot it. I didn't adjust it, because it was a little windy that day. I thought the right was due to the wind. Now I know it wasn't the wind. Honestly, I don't know if the G7 accounts for corialis. I believe it does, but not sure. No Bears!!!!! Very anoying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you currenlty have a load developed for that barrel the load will completely change. When you do anything different to the gun you change the harmonics and therefore the point of impact can and usually does change. Even adding the brake can change how your current load works. I wait to develope loads until my guns are done. If it shoots well I would recommend leaving the barrel alone. If you really want a fluted barrel I would recommend buying a brux match grade barrel and having it installed. Adam

I knew that was going to happen after seeing all the leftover tags disapear in 1 day last year. It's the Dawn of the NO leftover tags. The shrowd of the dark side is apon us now.

Crap, I just realized I sent the app to the wrong address:( That sucks! I just called and they said they won't open the PO Box for another month. Bummer!!!!!!!!!!! I'm sure the tags will be gone by the time I send anther app in. I tried to message you Big Brown but it says your message box is full. I sent my leftover tag in the blue envelope. Is that the PO or did I send it to the right place? Sorry, buddy you did the same thing I did. Wrong address. It's been about 5 years since I actually put in for a leftover in the draw. I had forgot the address was different. I normally buy a tag when they go on sale, but since I didn't think there would be any left over this year I decided to put in. I should have looked closer at the regs. Bummer!

If your gun currenlty shoots under 1 moa you have a great gun for long range shooting. If it does not shoot less than 1 moa I would recommend having a custom match grade barrel put on it. You will have a much better gun in the long run if you customize what you currenly have.
