We had a great morning hunt! It was a lot of fun watching the kids hunting together. They both made some great shots. My boy loved watching the dog get birds. I love dove hunting, because it's a social hunt. Everyone is cheering for eachother. Great family time!

The only 2 farm fields I was not given permission at was due to the same reason. The farmer said he was tired of picking up spent shells and having the shells get into his equipment. FYI, offering Elk & Deer meat to farmers will usually get you permission to hunt their land;)

Most the city limits extend well beyond the main city. Most of my spots are within the Queen Creek city limits. Most of it is not public land. It's usually private farm land. I take my rangefinder with me to ensure I'm past 1/4 mile from any structure.

I have been hunting around Queen Creek for the past 5 years. The vast majority of farmers do not care if your hunting on their property. Remember, if there is no sign you are allowed to hunt. That doesn't mean I don't ask. I've contacted most of the farmers surrounding Queen Creek. I only know of 2 that have said no. If you see a field with Dove, go hunt! Don't be like the rest of the flock and pile up off Ironwood & Ellsworth. Those area's can be like war zones. Everyone thinks Dove hot spots stay the same year after year. That's not correct! What was good last year is usually not good the following year. For the last 5 years my hot spots have changed every year. Very frustrating! You have to scout for Dove just like you scout for Deer & Elk. The better your scouting the better spots you will find. I scout new spots every year. Every year I find new and better spots. Adam

I have been hunting in city limits every since the law changed with zero issues. The first couple years I carried the rules & regs with me to show to arriving officers, but after many, many hunts I've never been stopped by any law enforcement. Most officers are understanding as long as you approach the situation correctly and explain the new law to them. Go have fun!

We tried a new spot and had another epic afternoon. I got my limit in 35 minutes with my 28 gauge Beretta. At one point I hit 6 in a row. Birds everywhere! I got 10 Eurasians after getting my limit. My brother in law had a tough time tonight. He got 12 & 3 Eurasians.

We had an Epic day!!! All of us were done by 7:00. Even my son limited. We all got our limit of white wings. I've never seen so many white wings.

During the youth hunt you can find Deer almost anywhere in unit 22. Great hunt!
