I need some advice. My Canadian hunting buddies are 100% positive the Bear is still alive. In their experience they say the Bear was hit high. They want me to keep hunting. I really don't know what to do. I definitely don't want to get Internet bashed for hunting another bear. What would you do?????

Tracked him for 500 yards, never could find him. I'm so pissed at myself. When I shot last night He dropped right after the shot, then rolled over and limped off into the woods. I must have hit him high. I'm so mad at myself for making a poor shot!!!!!! My last tag is now punched. I drew blood so I'm done. Now I get to help 2 other friends fill their tags.

Just shot the monster. I got 2 solid shots on him. He limped into the super thick bush. We're going to come back in the morning.

Seen 5 Bears today. Passed on 2. Just saw a monster, but he smelled us before I could get a shot. He was a 400 pounder 7 foot Bear.

Sorry for the delayed response. Service sucks where we're hunting. Yesterday was an Awesome day! In total we saw 7 Bears while glassing cuts and driving logging and gas roads. I should have waited longer to shoot a better bear, but I only had about 10 seconds to make a decision. I obviously decided to shoot:) I'm still happy with the Bear as it's my biggest so far. We ate fresh Bear back straps for dinner. Now I'm going to wait for a 6 foot plus bear. I passed on a nice 5 1/2 foot Bear last night. Wolf tracks everywhere!!!!!

5 Bears so far. Biggest was a sow with a year old cub. The rest were too small.

Were 1 hour from camp. Not sure how much cell service I will have, but I will update as much as possible.

Just crossed over the North Saskatchewan River. Amazing!!!!

I highly recommend anyone wanting to learn more about conservation to listen to Randy Newberg's & The Gritty Bowman podcast on youtube! You will be highly entertained & educated on conservation. Another great podcast is The joe rogan podcast. I highly recommend listening to his interview with Jim Shockley & Corey Knowlton. Both are exellent interviews!

I love how guys with 1 post ask for info on where to find animals! I'm not saying don't ask, but it surely helps to have more than a few post's to get most people to help. Otherwise it just appears you are only e-scouting!
