I am going on my third year with my bow tech assassin. Its my first bow so I am still pretty new to bow hunting/shooting. I have heard that it's a good idea to change out strings every 2 to 3 years. Any recommendations on a brand? Looking to spend around 100 bucks. Also how does it affect my current sights? Will I have to sight it in again? I have the stock apex four pin sight. Is there a break in period? Has anyone purchased strings from bull basin archery, and had them install strings? Since I live in Tucson that's most likely where I will go have it installed.

How you like the bow? I have the same one and been using it for about 3 - 4 year and I'm barely going to replace the string this season. I love it. I only just recently replaced the stock rest with a fall away rest. Everything else being stock has been deadly for me, since I have killed two deer and one javelina in the two and a half years I have had it.

I killed my second spike coues this year as well. He was a little bigger than my first spike so moving on up haha. Definitely one of the toughest animals to hunt, so just tagging out is definitely an accomplishment regardless of antler size. Always good times hunting with friends and family. dang!!! That shows how tough these bucks can be. Story of a lifetime time. Can't wait to set up camp tomorrow and start hunting on Friday. We have eight guys with tags, I can only pray that we have the success your hunting party had. Great job

I'm fine with the way it is. Some people just wanna fill their tag and freezer. As we all know hunting can be expensive (licence, tag, gas, food and gear). It's nice to be able to have that easier opportunity(in some cases) to tag out if your just hunting for meat.

Wow, some people are just idiots, plain and simple. Hopefully they'll learn from the crap they did if GF do anything about it.

Congrats to to you guys for filling tags out there, I have settled for that unit twice with left overs and couldn't make it happen.

If there's a clear path around you, even more of a reason to pull off and park in that clear spot. A road is for driving on, not parking on.

You should still get off the road. Unless it's broken down, there's usually plenty of spots to pull off.

ahh, brings back good memories from my middle school mariachi days. I dont know if they still do the mariachi conference at TCC. Used to be a pretty big thing.
