Sweet!!! Congrats, which hunt? I have the October hunt.

Feeling more and more lucky to have a tag after seeing some of these pics, even if it's a late rifle lower tier tag. I'll be happy to get a shot at a bull even half the size of some of those bruiser's.

Same here, I have a less desirable, tough late rifle tag in 7E but can't wait to get out and see what's out there.

Dauum, that top one is mutant like. I'm getting more and more excited to have a late rifle tag this year.

Do as much scouting as you can. If you find some bucks in a area before the season, there's a really good chance they'll be there the first two days of the hunt. After that the pressure will move them around.

Oh, I didn't know that. I usually put family members in for what ends up being leftovers and a bonus point for me to build points, then archery hunt. After standing in line at g and f back to back years a few years ago I was done with that mess.

If they sell out during the mail in portion, this will be the first time I can remember that ever happening. 🤯

Yeah I have to agree with nitto grapplers as well, they wear slowly and have got me in and out of some nasty 4x4ing. Bought my truck with them already on with only about 5k driven on them. I have put about 20k of hard driving and towing on them and still there's probably a little under half tread life left. Only problem is a very slow leak in one of the side walls from a sharp rock, the only down side is they don't have a very aggressive side wall compared to some other ATs.

I had the early archery hunt last September in 7E. Was definitely tough but fun, I did a little hunting in the peaks area where's there's tons of sign but could be hard to navigate cause of blow downs and the thickness. We got into some elk up there but basically just saw flashes of them running away through the trees, as it's pretty difficult to be stealthy walking through there without knowing exactly where their at.

Yup, I know there's plenty of you tube videos out there on restoring rusty guns. I might end up doing that if I can't sell it. Looks ugly but that has no effect on the function of it, I have shot many rounds through this thing with no problems.

This is a great thread. I'm shopping for a rifle and scope set up right now as well. I don't wanna steal the thread, but keep some recommendations coming for a budget of 1000 for glass and about 600 for a rifle.

Gen 1 or 2?

Willing to separate scope and rifle? How much for just the rifle?

Why did you decide to sell it? Just curious cause I been looking into this scope among others.

Any one here have experience with these optics? Especially the long range rifle scopes? I'm looking at the Midas TAC 6-24x50. I guess their pretty new and there's not a ton of reviews out there but heard some good stuff about them from an aquantace. With that being said, if there is anyone with a similar scope i.e. vortex, lueplold or other mid to high range scopes and rifle setups in 6.5, 308 or 300win mag for sale please let me know. I'm not looking to spend more than $2000 on my setup. Thank you
