Anxiously anticipating what the day will bring. Will it be the strart of the draw or another day of entertainment reading the posts on this thread...or both?
-
.270 because it works for me and I don't have a .308.

It's under the Purchase Tickets link for the Phoenix Chapter Banquet on this page: http://www.rmef.org/arizona/phoenix.aspx. Or, you can try this link directly: https://events.rmef.org/shop.aspx?eid=5363

Looks like some nice prizes. I'm in!

With 44 pages and 246 users currently reading it, I think a lot of people will agree that this has certainly been one of the most entertaining threads in a long time. Nice way to pass the time waiting for the results.

ready2Hunt, They generally can't, and don't, get the best/brightest programmers and IT staff. They're limited by state rules and regulations that limit what they can pay people, and because of that, pay below market value. Aside from a really down economy with high IT unemployment, the people they hire aren't the best and brightest.

Have to agree with you Diggems. I worked in IT for a couple of state agencies a few years back and the level of incompetence really floored me. There are a handful of quality workers busting their tails to get things done the right way, It's really amazing what they're able to accomplish in light of all of the obstacles you mentioned above, in addition to the dead weight workers that seem to thrive on doing everything possible to hinder and slow the progress of those actually working.

Put in two elk apps last night without any issues.

A friend did hunters ed shortly before the draw a couple years ago and it didn't show up either. He called and was told they only update the web data a couple times a year. They should be good.

If you put in together, you'll have the same chance. Group applications take the average number of points for all hunters on the application. Her 1 plus your 4 is 5, divided by 2 gives your application 2.5 points. The .5 rounds up, so your group tag application will have 3 points.

Got a late start to hunting, but bought my first big game rifle in the mid 90s. Was looking for an all purpose elk, muley and whitetail gun. It was a Remington 700 Classic in 7MM Weatherby, which was a little big for the whitetail. :-)
