Those are some fantastic pics, we were planning a trip up there for summer but life got too busy so we'll have to wait and enjoy your photos in the mean time. And i cant see that coues drinking from the river is he to the right or left of bigfoot? -
we have all heard of the sacrificial "sock'' (u know when your 2 miles from camp and no TP the one time where pine cones arnt going to cut it) stop wearing them back to camp!

i get kinda of mental when it comes to ocer up, i wash my clothes in H.S scent laundry soap then when i dry i them i use the natural dirt dryer sheets from there i seal them in a vac-bag with scent waffer. i dont open them until i get out there. Let me also mention that camo pattern is just as important, u dont want the wrong kind for the terrain you are in or u will stand out like $2 hooker. these are no means "the way to go" this is just what works for me and everyone has thier own ways and success stories so try a few and use whats best for you. Scouting is a great way to try them out b4 the actual the hunt (so if u spook or they spot ya its not that depremental). Good luck i do use the racoon the most but only on my boots.

I know this has nothing to due with deer or elk hunting but i need to give away our beagle. 3 year old Male (clipped), up 2 date on shoots great with kids and even cats, house broken He doesnt howl as much as u would think he is just a mooch hound and a table thief. He has his papers and is a good dog other then the fact he steals the babys food. So we are getting rid of him to a good home for FREE. PM me if interested East valley area

To eliminate 100% human order is impossible but to cover it up or mask it works, i have had deer and elk walk right up to me with in feet before doing the snort wease dance, my buddy has had a bull spike pee on his foot i wouldnt have believed it if i hadnt busted out laughing watching it happen (this was when there were animals in 23 (we had cow tags) . the stories can go on 4ever so to be short and sweet they work with help from you and mother nature.

its only the national parks and if i remember it only really shows the grand canyon for AZ and the 24k isnt usgs its Garmins version and done very poorly, to be honest it isnt worth the money ( i know i used to sell garmin products) your best bet is to stick with just uploading and downloading waypoints off of other software to your GPS i.e NGS topo or Maptech i have both and use both.

yes sir, i cant go until the 15th i just hope the season hasnt closed by then. best of luck to all those who are getting a head start.

i dont mind snakes at all but rattle snakes scare the heck out of me, when i am walking for quail i keep my head down and people always give me crap so i just i'm looking for sheds. been lucky so far i've gotten dry bitten twice so i know the next time its 4 real (3rd times the charm). i respect the heck out of them but from a far far distance. -

scout4u replied to azcamohead's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
LOL, to be honest i could careless what method they use cause i will put in no matter what. i like the online app just for the fact i can put in while still in my underware -
GPS is the way to go but it shouldnt replace a map and compass. The garmin E-trex is fantastic for getting back to camp, truck, quad etc. the gps 72 is great cheap and has a slightly larger screen

Unbelievable Dept. Mess UP!!!
scout4u replied to azcamohead's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
well u can get all the signatures you want it isnt going to help cancel the on line app process cause as it has been stated before an "extra" 30,00 people applied only cause of the online process well do the math thats 30,000 x 5 (app fee) thats an extra 150,000k game and fish banked because of the pay later online apps but notice how they took the $5 fee right away its all business so dont take it personal. -
mine was in the mail box when i got home from work on saturday and it was correct so woohoo i'll be in 32 come october

oh man now thats funny right there,, no thnks i like my manhood where it is.

Unbelievable Dept. Mess UP!!!
scout4u replied to azcamohead's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
WOW this is a good topic lots of different good points and views from both angles. What it boils down to is that some people didnt get drawn for the tags that they wanted and have to have someone to blame be it the game and fish or the hunters who like using the pay option of the online tags apps. Either way u apply doesnt make u less of a hunter. Some people just need more help then others and theres nothing wrong with that so if you didnt get drawn for whatever reason stop blaming and be happy that others get to share in something that you also enjoy. It should be a common bond to share not rip apart due to BS and jealousy. For those who didnt get drawn for whatever reason you are welcome to share my campfire when the time comes........ -
went tuesday when they had contractors night not very crowded but it was busy, bought a few camo sets and new camel pack and some cover up scents so i got away pretty cheap this time

scout4u replied to azcamohead's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
The out of staters are back on the cap! OR so they say, but who knows!!!! ALL I KNOW IS THAT I AM SICK AND TIRED OF NOT GETTING DRAWN FOR OUR OWN STATE!!!! And "OUR" tags is right!!!! I dont think the online application is here to stay if enough sportmens express there concern for the mess ups that have happened and the fact that SO MANY EXTRA PEOPLE PUT IN!!!! Who are these "extra people" u talk about so much. I am a sportsmen and for one think that everyone should have the same chance at a hunt reguardless of draw methods. Share the outdoors and its beauty dont be greedy with it.
