Being a good shooter and being a good hunter are two very different things
-
I gotta disagree there, there's a ton of people that shoot coues at long distances, I'd say a small percentage of those has what it takes (skill, dedication, time to invest) to take one with a bow. I suppose The argument could be made that they could become decent with a bow if they put in the same time they put in shooting long distance, but the shot is the easy part of bowhunting.

I think this is an easy question. If you're a good enough hunter, you get close.if you're not, you snipe. I've been on both sides, but for me 289 yards is sniping...

'glassed up a 110" buck'- directly translates to.... 'glassed up a fork horn'. Alt definition- 'glassed up a group of doe and never saw a buck' -
ASU is back to their baseline, any win is a good win.

People that take bad shots do so because they are willing to take bad shots(poor hunting ethics), not because of anything having to do with equipment

A grand for a bow sight! Now I've seen it all. And just so you don't have to be aware of the range? Seems like a whole lot of money to give up a part of the skill/art of hunting with a bow. I'd have a hard time relying on an electronic device that if anything goes wrong,or you run out of batteries, then you can't even shoot. Interesting idea, definitely not for me. I'll be interested to see what people think of it after they've used it for a while though.

Obviously you havent watched them play or if you have you dont know basketball. You dont beat Xavier and Kansas on their courts, win 13 straight and arent that good after all.Teams can definitely win a couple good games and still be a mediocre team.asu played very well as a team and reached their peak early, but now they've clearly been figured out.tgeyre a decent team, but nothing special by any means.ill put it this way,if they were an Arizona team, it would be a very down year
-
Plus maybe they're just not that good after all....? Sorry couldn't help myself!
-
Seems like the lower ASU falls in the polls, the higher sundevils temper rises....weird....

Answer to first question is yes, that's it. Question number 2, the hd glass is all the same.

Pretty good game, Arizona almost let it slip at the end... 2 good teams, but the good guys won!
-
I'm not rationalizing u of a failures. They BOMBED in the Bahamas. But,not the freshmen seem to have their heads straight, and alkins is back. Better watch out. If at the end of the season, ASU beats out arizona in the conference, I'll give credit where it's due. But,that's not gonna happen. Enjoy the winning while you can, might be another 40 years before you guys are competitive again

Since lute Olson took over at Arizona, the wildcats are 53-15 vs ASU. In that time frame, Arizona has won 15 conference championships and 6 conference tournaments. ASU has won a grand total of 0.NOTHIN.nada. aside from the disastrous couple years between lute Olson and Sean Miller, ASU has beaten Arizona 4 times...in 21 years! Hurley has never beaten Arizona. The list goes on and on. Who knows, maybe ASU will split the games with Arizona this year.theyre undeniably much improved from the bottom of the barrel we are all used to. But they're nowhere near the team or program of u of a, and only an ASU fan could think otherwise. And again,I hope they stay good, it makes things a lot more fun!
-
I actually like seeing ASU do better by the way. It's good for pac12 and u of a as well. It's always been a free win and an almost guaranteed loss when teams come through Arizona, good to have another decent team here for a change. And, it'll make the rivalry fun again, hasn't been much of a rivalry, more a butt kicking for many many years

This is what winning is like,ASU fans. Enjoy it now, it's not gonna last with a moron coach like hurley
-
It's pretty cute watching all the sun devil fans get so excited over being ranked for once. They're #16, have a couple good wins, and now the fans think they're championship contenders. Haha they really just don't know what's it's like to get a quality win for a change. If they think they are on Arizona's level, they're in for a rude awakening. They've had the best season they've ever had already, they'll fall back to being mediocre at best, it's ASU tradition!

I really liked those coast headlamps from Costco until the 'on' buttons on both failed.shame cuz they put off great light, and batterylife is better then my black diamond. In my experience I wouldn't trust one, luckily I always carry a backup light or that would've been one long dark night

Is the kilo1250 the same just with less range? Or us it a lesser model?
-
I had viper 12xs for years, found a lot of deer with them.they are middle of the road binos for middle of the road price in my opinion. I got them for under 400 with their government discount, and for that price I think they're very hard to beat. For 600, i still think they're a decent value, but In my opinion there's better out there in that price range. The warranty is worth something vs companies with lesser warranties too.

I shot a coues with my bow yesterday, so I'm wondering If anybody knows where I could donate my rifle tag. It's 2nd hunt unit 32 coues. I'd be more then happy to give it to any kid who will use it. Thanks for any info!

Sounds good, let me know if it falls through.
