I really need to get him a tripod. --Bill

mcelkhunter, Great picture, here is one of my son on his youth muzzloader hunt this past October. I took the picture about 30 seconds after he told me he wasn't tired. --Bill

Very nice first elk, heck very nice elk no matter what number it would be. Not much cover in that country. Congratulations, --Bill

"Good day", I'll say. Are calling or trapping? Either way, good job. --Bill

C'mon... Sleep is over rated, let's see some of the south of the border action. --Bill

I have an ATV as well and only use it to save the beating my truck would normally get. Opening morning of the late November hunt we got to our glassing spot a couple hours before light hoping to get a nap before glassing light. Looking down towards the roads it was nothing but a parade of headlights, and when the sun came up the constant buzzing of people looking for volunteer deer. I was amazed at where some folks drive their trucks, just makes hunting deeper all that much better. --Bill

Very nice looking buck congratulations. Although I had full understanding and support from my wife to miss Thanksgiving for coues', I still felt the ripples of effect it had on the kids. Next year, I won't be missing any holidays to make a hunt. I couldn't think of missing any Christmas time from the family, but the 7 hour drive to get to coues' country makes it an adventure. Once again sweet buck, --Bill

That is one old cat, you probably did do her a favor. She was getting to the point that someone was going to have to chew her food for her. --Bill

Sounds like a fun hunt. Thanks for sharing the story and pictures. Congrats, --Bill

You know you're addicted to coues when.....

I was actually there 3 days before the hunt, 2 before Thanksgiving, no problems. After I killed opening day, at first she couldn't understand why I didn't come home until the hunt was over. After coming home I explained what the hunt is about and she really understood. But, next time. . . Not over a holiday. -

I don't know if you will believe this or not, but my wife has actually accussed me of having an obsession..... --Bill -
Well, after coming to the disturbing conclusion that I can't count. Added to the fact that all the "good" numbers are taken I'm going to have to guess 4775. --Bill
-
You've got some real nice bucks there... What unit? --Bill
-
Now how in the world?

That guy must have had some amazing dogs to get a deer to tree. --Bill -
Had a snow day from work so my wife and I took the pack for a walk. Here are a couple of me and my Leopard cur Booner. . . And with the attack crew. . . Life in the pines. --Bill

Here are a couple pictures of a muley buck we saw today with 5 doe. What can I say? Don't have any coues' up here. --Bill

Already???? Wow, they didn't waste any time this year. --Bill

We got 14" here in the Jemez and it's still snowing. I imagine the storm passed through you folks, any picture of the snow there? I'll post some from here later. --Bill
-
Jason, I believe Amanda said that they should be available in a week or so. --Bill
-
C'mon guys... Don't use up all the good numbers. I'm still counting. --Bill
-
"some of you people are a little redicoulos about your so called honey holes im sure somebody showed you where to hunt..." What better reason to not talk about where you hunt? --Bill
-
Here's one bedded from late November, don't know if it's a buck or doe. --Bill
-
GREAT... Now I'm going to be up counting beans for the next two weeks. --Bill

I totally agree with numbering the arrows. When I have one or two arrows that don't group they are usually the same repeat offenders. They get assigned to a blunt for grouse golf. --Bill
