If you get a good personal history of killing quality animals you can be a guide in Az. Pretty simple.... If you can set up wall tents or pull a trailer you are good to go for camp stuff... Very few outfitters use livestock. Get some quality gear and a work hard for little reward attitude and your golden. Make sure you are doing it for the love of the game cause the money, fame, glory, always goes to the outfitter. I was a guide for over 10 years and was paid better than most, after my best year ever on killing giants, I quit. It became a job and even though I was paid very very well that year, It wasn't enough. I hope you don't love having a family cause if you do you won't for long after being gone all fall..... Just ask anyone that took guiding serious about a divorce.... I think the paperwork is drawn up by the state as soon as the guide license is purchased.. Lol I now hunt for myself and family and a few friends and the love is back and I am having a great time again. Good luck with your decision....

Nope... Boring.. Same old stuff year after year.

With a proper diet it works like a charm. Went from a keg to a six pac the first time I did it. Life got in the way but I'm getting ready to do another cycle of it... The first month of the diet plan is brutal and I always seemed to be hungry. But second month is very doable and third month is "normal" healthy food. I used their guidelines and made my own menu, their menu, while appealing, takes too much time, effort and and lots of shopping. It is tough but if you stick with it and eat right you will get results. Good luck!

Find tracks.. Get elevation.... Glass glass glass... If you are chilly with a light jacket on they are also cold. If you stand on one side of a hill with sun on it and you are comfortable then there is a good chance they will be on the same sides of the hills. If is hot out like this coming weekend will be look on the cooler sides of the hills after 10 am or in washes. Lots of food out there right now so they shouldn't be tearing up the pears. Filaree and other surface grasses and weeds are their food choice right now. Be patient with your glassing.. Like Coues deer, if you think you are glassing slow enough, slow down some more. I could go on and on about these little critters ( I love hunting them) but that should get you started.

Toyo AT 2 is what I run on my tundra.love the tire!! I get about 50k with about a 70/30 on road off road ratio. Not a lot of road noise and clean pretty good in mud. They are kind of a hybrid at/mt. I used to be a BFG AT guy but no more.. Definatly worth a look.

Both will work. My kimber mountain accent in 280 ai loves the 168 bergers. As you know, the 280 doesn't punish like the 7 mm does. I can shoot more which means better shooting which means better accuracy at longer ranges. To me that is what matters most, but everyone is different... dead with a big magnum or dead with a non magnum is still dead... Good luck in the draw and enjoy the hunt.

They called me. I asked them if the draw was done, as I had two buddies that also applied, and they said that it is and that everybody that drew has been notified via phone. My buddies didn't draw.
