Velocity Hunter Rangefinders - Starting at only $99.99 These are good quality rangefinders that come with a CR2 battery, case, strap and lens cloth. To answer the questions I think you're thinking: Warranty - It has a 1 year replacement warranty Where is it made? It is made in China. Most of the handheld rangefinders are made in China. Magnification? It is a 6x magnification Waterproof? It is water resistant, not waterproof. You can go in the rain with it, but do not swim with it Is there anything special about it other than the scan mode? No, not really other than the low price. Why does the information on the web page suck? Because our web builder leaves a great deal to be desired. Velocity is a private label unit and they do not yet have a web page up and running so our web builder could not grab detail from anywhere. Why should I buy a rangefinder nobody knows? Good question. Our answer is, quite frankly, a good deal of these rangefinders roll off the same assembly line and are basically the same. These units, 660 yard @ $99.99 and 1100 yard @ $129.99, are very inexpensive, will do what they are supposed to do and if you have any issues we will stand behind it. Is the display LED or LCD? Compact The telephoto lens design of using 5 lens elements in 4 groups has successfully shortened the overall length of the scope while keeping a large diameter objective lens without sacrificing optical performance.
