I managed to round off my extractor on a glock with steel case ammo. Other than that, I have never had an issue. I do not recall exactly how many rounds it was, but IIRC it was around 10-12k rounds before it started to have failure to extract issues. I still shoot it regularly because extractors are cheap and easy to replace if it happens again.

Yeah, im pumped for North Dakota. I leave first thing tomorrow for Mchenry/ Sutton area. Have a few buddies that are farmers there. Hoping this cold snap will get the rut going.

Pepperjacks is a solid little eatery!! I've noticed that the good taxidermists have gotten exponentially busier over the past 10 years. Seems like word gets out faster on social media and the shady or shitty taxidermists get exposed quicker. Clay, in Payson, will keep my business for a while. His turnaround time is a year or more, but his work is top notch.

haha, I love a good honest opinion on something. Jeeps have their purpose but it definitely is not long travel. They are uncomfortable on short trips. Good luck in Kansas! Shoot a biggin

I see it, but I do not know what it is. Something blue and white near the top of the horizontal

So you're telling me there's a chance!

Better talk to Baker and learn how to home brew.

That sounds hideous! I wish I had that drive. Yoga pants are my drive and being strong is just a byproduct!!

How are we supposed to get our kid's hunter's education in?

I'm not positive, but I thought I read somewhere that as long as they completed the online portion, they were kind of waiving the field day requirement if there were no classes. -
Agree, McSally is terrible, but still better than Kelly. Every time I see one of her commercials, I lose a little more faith that she will win. I already sent in my vote and I hope everyone on here, at the minimum, votes.

Congrats on the tags. Absolutely insane that people have 20+ points for Turkey.

I always take in a seperate nalgene bottle with atleast 2 packs of electrolites( squenchers, WA or something similar) or flavoring ( teas, lemonade) a day. Water gets old after a few days. Instant coffee, if you are a coffee drinker, is a must.

Anyone know who has the best deal on these? I think I "need" a set of the 12's. I assume Doug is usually the best buy, but figured I would double check.

I dang near threw up one night in North Dakota. The tree was swaying so much that I started to get Sea sickness. haha. Wild ride for sure, but I have complete confidence in them staying on the tree.

I own Yeti, Rtic, Canyon and Orca. They all perform about the same if they are pre cooled. I like the design of the Canyon's, but I think if it came down to longest ice retention, my Rtic would probably win. It seals so dang tight that it is hard to open some times.

I thought I read that they changed "what accepting compensation" meant. They changed the wording to allow people to accept money to help buddies, as long as it was not the "going rate." I will have to look again, but I could swear they changed the verbage to allow guys to give guy's gas money or a form of compensation that was lower than what was the going rate for a guide.

#1 reason... They are super Tacti-cool. They also do a good job of minimizing the heat signature off of them. Its pretty amazing how fast they heat up. A few shots and they are untouchable without a cover or glove.

I wish our Ace hardware in Sun city and Surprise would add hunting to their stores.

My buddy has that parka. I tried it out one morning. That thing is like wearing an OVEN. Great for glassing or still hunting with slow movement. The puffy's are worth their weight in gold. I always have mine thrown in my bag in a small stuff sack.

Bix does a great job on the processing. Having said that, I tried some of his snack stick/ slim jim's and they were some of the worst I have had. The texture was just not right. Kind of seemed like they were not smoked long enough. His processing job was nice and clean tho.
