Poor kid with the forkie
-
Now that would be a crime!
-
It's not ok now. Stealing is always wrong.
-
You sir, have the right username.
-
Hahaha Exactly! I just need to iron out the details of the hunt. i.e daytime vs. nighttime, which camo pattern works best, face paint or no face paint, silent sneakers or just regular ole' boots, the best cover scents, When the peak of the hunt is. So many details to figure out.

It's gonna be like Easter egg hunting or Shed hunting.
-
Can't wait until it's open camera season. Ebay is gonna be filled with Az trail cameras.

Amanda. Havnt seen her post much at all lately.

I've been terrorizing the same 3-4 herds for 17 years. They are ALWAYS within a mile of where I think is their epicenter. Sometimes they can be hard to locate within that mile, but a good coverage plan usually turns them up.

No, you can not buy tags online as of now. I heard that Az might venture into digital tags. It's nice to buy your license online so that it automatically populates your license info on your apps. The portal system I have 0 problems with but do agree it could be streamlined significantly. Sidenote* Anyone else remember the days of calling 602-942-3000 over and over and over trying to get thru to see if you were drawn. I can remember as a kid dialing and dialing and dialing.

Catfish Kev don't need no stinkin' hounds. That ole' boy is a hound! Good luck brochacho

Good to see you made it thru this Kev.. I wonder when guys are gonna get sick of all this end of the world shitt.

Your swing makes my back hurt! haha
-
So you want to confirm your suspicions? Gotcha....

Reason for asking the distance?
-
Apparently too far for you according to some. The only reason to ever miss with a bow is because the shot was too far... SMFH. Its like some guys only hunt online and never really get out in the field. A real bowhunter knows that misses happen, bad shots happen. Sometimes guys do shoot beyond their capabilities, but sometimes shitt just happens. To assume a bad shot was due to distance is unfair and only tries to further divide hunters. I wish I had that ice that flows thru some guys veins! Then again, if it only comes down to making a bowshot and not taking in adrenaline into the equation, id probably stop bowhunting. The day I lose that feeling, I'm gonna hang it up.

Why do you care?

That sucks about your buddy wounding such a good buck. I think you did a good job describing the event without going into complete outfitter trashing. What you describe happens with lots of outfitters and it has become somewhat expected. Clearly a terrible shot that led to a deer suffering for a few days. Sucks, but it happens. I would most likely help a guy out find the buck the first day, but after that, that buck just needs to be killed to end the suffering. I'd make no attempt to locate the original wounder after day 1. I have no doubts that the guide made 0 effort to help, even on day 1. Its an expected result of the pressure guides have on themselves. It has become, Produce big animals for their clients or fade off into the background and lose potential future customers.

How long are you gonna make us wait?
-
360-370.

Watched a 140-150ish buck yesterday that had 0 does and exhibited no signs of any rutting. Not sure what to make of this year. Seems very spotty for me at best. Last week of December they were on fire not 10 miles from where this guy was yesterday. Probably all the trail cams out there messing up their routines I'd imagine. 😂

Sutton, Mchenry area. Have a few buddies with larger farms that we hunt Whitetail and geese on.
-
A few jumbo's in there. Perch might be my favorite fish to eat. One of my favorite things about going back to ND to hunt each year, are the fish frys.

Is there a price?
