I've heard this same statement about the 14.7 possibly being bs. Others tried to say it's because the FOV is bigger, so it appears to not have as much power. Imo there is a good jump from El's to NL's. Not earth shattering, but noticeable to me.
-
They are optically phenomenal imo, but like yote said, not earth shattering better than the 12's. If I didn't have the 12's and had 10's or 8's, I would probably grab a pair. I've seen a few on the secondary market if you really want a pair and don't want to wait.

Extreme left and extreme right are both cancer IMO. I know plenty of guys who use weed as pain med or relaxation. They aren't piles of shitts like the far right would try to get you to believe. Same goes for the far left trying to get me to pay for the dead beats. GFY, and tell them to get a job. Too bad common sense politics is not possible. Eliminate parties and go with free thinkers would be a novel idea. Clearly we will NEVER agree on everything, but vote for who you most align with and give weight to whichever plank means the most to you.

Any moa rail tends to make getting zero on a scope harder to get at close range. Essentially it angles the scope down and a scope with not enough elevation adjustment will not be able to get a zero at 100 yards. The more MOA you add to the rail, the more likely you are to not be able to get a zero at 100 yards.

Great deal, wish i needed another.

You need more moa to zero? It's usually the opposite. Something seems wrong if you can't get a zero at 100 with a 20 moa base and you need more.

Hearing protection for the shot?

Agree, you don't buy because of the 200$ to uncle Sam. That's fine, just don't give the permission argument, it gets old and is often, easily refuted in your day to day. To each their own, you will likely never own a supressor and appreciate their benefits. That's a personal decision you have made. -

Not the same at all, but both ask big brother for permission to do so.. -

You are OK asking Big brother to conceal a weapon, but not buy a supressor? I just want you to try and understand that.. What are the additional steps? It's been a few years since my last supressor, did they add more steps? -

OK, In order for you to get your Ccw you had to ask "Big brother." Flawed logic is hard to defend I get it... Maybe just say I don't want to pay the extra 200$, leave out the part about "Big brother." -

You are OK asking big brother to buy guns, but not supressors? Hahahaha -
I heard they are banning hearing aids now and glasses and contacts on the next go around. Better go get Lasik and cochlear implants.

No doubt, The only place I really heard it has done much is on the strip and unit 9. Could you imagine hunting without radios tho? 🤯
-
Oh man, Heads are gonna explode if they ban radios. 😅

I have a take off black plastic from a T3 22-250 if you are interested. I am in NW Peoria as well

You are one of the few. I know a few guys that guide up there and are really successful at it. They say the deer numbers are significantly lower than 5 years ago.

Votes are anonymous if that matters to you.

Especially with that attitude...

It has never been tried or challenged. Most will say that it can not happen per the 12th.

MISSING!!!! Taxidermist went missing
HuntHarder replied to bigelk's topic in Miscellaneous Items related to Coues Deer
Some bigger jobs often require deposits for small businesses. I get why taxidermists require deposits. They are not always the ones ripping the customer off. There are lots of customers who never come pick up their mounts. Deposits are necessary imo to not only order supplies, but also make sure the customer has some skin in the game. -

It's a long story over many years, but multiple other buddies had problems getting work completed. Addiction is a Mfer, Bret never did me wrong, so I gave him a chance at getting back on his feet. This is after multiple buddies told me not to. His taxidermy imo, is really good and I know that he is a great guy. -

No physical threats. It wasn't a huge sum, just hate the fact of losing money and getting nothing in return. Bret was pretty cool about it, all in all and honored his word that he would get me paid back for my deposit.
