Its a muzzleloader season for a reason.... It is supposed to be harder than a rifle hunt, so they typically would put them at better times of the year with less tags. With modern mler's, the effective range is really no different than a rifle in most guys hands. Im ok with mlers that shoot 700 yards if its during a rifle hunt.

Law Enforcement sitting on their couch, getting pictures sent to them. What happened to the good ole' days of lacing up the boots and covering some ground. Clearly not fair chase. I wonder if they will harvest this buck they have on camera? Seems like most say it's not probable.

Yup, mandatory harvest reporting is a MUST. Don't complete your report, you do not get to apply for the following season. If you get caught lying on your report, 1 year revocation and 5 year hiatus from applying for big game. I am confused on why Game and Fish is so against Mandatory harvest reporting. The burden on the hunter reason does not pass the smell test.

I have been using mine for 2 years now. I love the sight. Very accurate and really helps identify if you are torqueing the bow.

Twenty two N was on fire opening weekend. Lots of bugling and very responsive to calls. If that unit could get a break from the 875 rifle bull tags, I think it might produce more trophy bulls. Finding a good bull in there was challenging. Lots of scouting turned up tons of bulls but few that broke 320- 330".

Nice rig but the 1000's are not a 3 speed, they are a 6 speed. The 500 is nice because it fits in the bed of a truck and is able to go on a lot of trails in other states where they have an Inch requirement.

That looks awesome! I have had a bunch of buddies hunt out of Larson bay and there is no shortage of Grizzlies, so I am told. My trip to Alaska was epic and I am sure yours will be too. The scenery alone is stunning. Wildlife everywhere and the remoteness that can be had is unmatched here in the lower 48.

Amazing how we know so much about these people we know nothing about. Here's my take. lol. Ok Aguado, off duty forest ranger camping with his church group. They see a spring on the map they surely have, and realize it is really close to where they are camping. Short hike down a hill they find the spring and then see a tree stand. Off duty tree cop flexes his muscle, puts on his officer doofy cap on backwards and says "hey Richard, climb that tree with those steps in it, that are killin' my tree, and take down that tree stand, it looks abandoned." The rest cheer him on and think Richard is such a badass because he climbed a tree with no harness on. Tree cop looks like a badass to everyone in his group because he cleaned up our forest.

They have been screaming pretty good on the rim for the last 2 weekends. Usually going pretty good until about 7:45 in the am and going for about an hour right before dark. Hoping this heat wave about to hit Payson, does not shut them down this weekend.

Apply for any and all. Chances are he will be a young adult or older before he gets a tag. If he gets lucky and draws, all the hunts are easy enough. Even the North rim with all the shenanigans that goes on has a good success rate depending on the amount of time committed to the hunt.
