Checkerboard land ownership is shoot and should have never happened.... but it did. Reducing tags is the only thing Game and fish can really do. Less animals to hunt for the masses, less tags, seems pretty straight forward. As for high fencing it and taking the animals off? Really need to lay off the meth. IIRC, the big bo is 2/3 private, 1/3 leased land. How would you feel if they told you, you needed to give all your land assets to the state because its too big of a piece of land. Seems socialistic at the very minimum.

150$ charge to drive to someone's house and help them recover a lock combo seems cheap to me. How much do you think a traveling locksmith should make an hour? I'd say atleast 50$ an hour for the tech, the company also needs to make money, that doesnt leave a whole lot of meat on the bone once you factor in fuel, maintenance, insurances, benefits. Welcome to inflation, shoot's gonna cost more, especially specialized services.

Yeah Capt., I will be in this year. So much crap over the last 5 years that I do not even know which side to put my handle on my reel anymore. I will just look at Mark's and do opposite. lol. I can assure you that the North Dakota deer trip added atleast 5lbs of beer weight. I need to mix in more Fireball so I puke up all the beer.

185.8 lbs this am on the same scale at the gym. Crazy how fast a guy can lose weight if you put in some effort and make small changes to your diet.

No need to fret, I am on my way to getting back to my prime fishing weight of 180-185ish.

Worst news of the day. What are all these Grampa's gonna do? We are gonna lose a whole generation of hunters.🤣 -

Dick skin lean! Lol. Havnt heard that yet. Haha. I've been "bulking" we'll call it. I just hit 194lbs. I think that's as heavy as I wanna go, so started 3 weeks ago pumping up cardio and cutting carbs. I should be 180ish by January but not dick skin lean.

No point in arguing with some on here. Their minds are made up. We should sit back and do nothing because whatever we do, will not work. They are certain that most hunters are dishonest and will lie on their report. IMO, they are probably in that crowd, which is why they think that will be the norm. They were probably the ones saying that baiting ban wasn't going to stop anyone or trail camera ban will not stop anyone either. Time will tell, but the baiting ban has for sure worked where I hunt. -

I would wager a hefty chunk (like $20.00), you are in the absolute minority in your want. -

Nah... I will agree to disagree. The vast majority of hunters will be truthful on their mandatory harvest reports, especially if there are repercussions if you are caught being untruthful. Your last statement actually makes most people's point about mandatory harvest reporting. Of course all that matters is the total harvest. RIght now, we literally have no idea how many animals are killed in each unit. With Mandatory harvest, that actual number will be much clearer. Only a few losers will lie on their harvest reports. -

I used silencer shop.com. Really easy process, They do all the submitting of paperwork for you, just gotta go to one of their kiosks and get finger printed and picture taken. I set up a trust online thru gun trust guru I believe. It too, was really easy.

Yes and no... Being able to spot trends with accurate harvest data is pretty important. As of right now, we really have 0 idea of where archery hunters hunt on OTC tags. Also, their archery rule of closing units relies on a 20% of total harvest for each unit. Right now, their is no possible way to actually determine if a certain unit has hit the 20% threshold. I agree that knowing an actual count on the animals in a particular unit is important when it comes to management, but it is not an absolute. Let's start with baby steps and require harvest reporting. From there, we can evolve this into a more scientific way of actually MANAGING our wildlife. -
Was this the buffalo incident everone was talking about

Nah, Chad knew what he was doing. Then took it a step further and looked like a complete assclown racking a round in his chamber. What a true piece of chit. -
Wally world usually does the same thing. They will not sell a 2022 deer tag until 2022.
