Yup, we need opportunity units. The terrain in 22n is a great place for opportunity imo. Lots of hiding spots with how thick it can be. I think the majority of guys on hunting forums, like trophy hunts vs. Opportunity, but the majority of hunters don't go on hunting forums.

Yup, im going in With 9 as well. I have an AK hunt early Sept. So I only applied for snowballs chance in heck early rifle hunts. Couldn't stomach bonus point only. Haha

It's an opportunity hunt. I spent a ton of time in that unit last year because we had an early rifle tag. The amount of bulls we glassed was pretty impressive. Having said that, we had a difficult time finding bigger bulls. Glassing 20+ bulls a day was the norm tho. Lot's of bulls, lots of thick, rugged areas they can hide in.

Looking to trade an unfired Tikka T3 blued/ black 22-250, for a magnum actioned Tikka. Let me know, looking to do another build and need a .532 bolt. I may just buy a new bolt from LRI, but figured I would see if anyone wanted to trade first.

Yup, I shot one in January about 10 years ago. Regretted it for the rest of the year. They now gotta be giants to even think about shooting in January.

In my experience, they do not have to water all that often. They eat cactus and roots with contain lots of water. They will still hit water, but they are less dependent on it vs. other animals.

I can only imagine. The one for compound bows is pretty badass. Made a big difference in consistency and shaves valuable seconds off of spot to shot time. You are right tho, you have no use for it. I just take my fixed 3 pin sight to ND.
