I think I'm gonna try chartering a 6 pack to try out Tuna fishing in Cali. I've been on the cattle boats and I know that isn't for me.

I just try and wrap my head around Tuna fishing out of Cali and justifying the cost to me hasn't happened yet. The trip, the processing, the shipping. I want to try it out and figure out if I am missing something, but man, it ends up being over a grand and the haul is usually not all that great. I do say tho, if I added up all the $$$ I spend on hunting trips, I would probably say the same thing. I think Mexico has kind of spoiled me for cost per pound of fish brought back.

I tried to cook the Sierra the way I usually cook fish and it was Insanely fishy. I've heard either ceviche or smoke em and they are good

Good theory but late hits do in fact happen. I have received an antelope tag and a turkey tag after the 1st initial hits. My bank posts a pending charge almost immediately. On both the cases, it was a couple days later that the charges came in as pending and on the same day as everyone else with a late charge. I think they are cards rejected or some chit.

That's not fair. I put in for both those hunts and had twice the points you had. I'm gonna go start a petition on change.org.

I think your disconnect is between purchasing an actual item.. (food, groceries) vs. purchasing a chance( to be drawn). Now if AGFD said first come first served and you were first in line and they skipped you, you could complain about that.

Can you imagine how pissed Geoff Larson gets when some asshat wins the lottery buying his first ticket EVER. Geoff has spent 1000$ and never one and this guy just "cut the line". Or that sorry sunbitch who sits down next to you at the casino and pulls that handle once and wins the progressive. Lucky, unfair SOB. Don't even get Geoff started on the raffle tags.

Poor guy. Tell us more how the bad man hurt you. Your idea of a new preference system is not a good idea. You keep putting in for trophy hunts and get ate up when you do not draw. Hunter recruitment would be SHITT if 50% went to highest bonus point holder. Having a decent chance of drawing a tag each cycle is what keeps people interested. Suggestions to curb you from blowing a gasket every draw. 1. put in for easier draw hunts. 2. There are OTC archery turkey tags. You claim to be a bowhunter mostly. 3. Hunt out of state 4. Quit applying
