How long does the program take? I assume you mean you have completed the program 6 times and not just done the workout 6 times.

Kryptek Alaios Pants Brand New Never Worn
HuntHarder replied to HuntHarder's topic in Classified Ads
TTT $90TYD. Sportsmans warehouse sells them for $149.99 -
I have a pair of brand new, never worn Kryptek Alaios pants for sale. They are Mountain Mimicry Camo. I am bummed out because they are great pants. They are too small for me, and I never tried them on after I bought them. It is now too late to return, so my loss is your gain. I paid $139.99 I will sell them for $100.00. They are size 32 x 32.5, but they are a tight 32. I usually wear 32 or 33 inch waist pants, and these are too tight for me. Located in North Peoria. http://www.cabelas.com/product/Kryptek-Alios-Pants/1358977.uts

No pissing match intended. I was on last years 2nd hunt with a tag in my pocket. I saw first hand, and I assure you that there was more than 15 antelope killed during both hunts. 15 were killed on 2nd hunt alone, and that is if the hunt survey cards are correct. I believe a few guys from ross had the 1st hunt and they both killed good bucks. buddy of mine killed a great buck and his father also took a good buck on 1st hunt. Lots of opportunity for a harvest in 19a, reason being Antelope herds are doing well, and #'s are high per mile. Just trying to get people to simmer down about how all the Antelope in 19a are being slaughtered. This happens EVERY year, and Good bucks will be killed during Muzzy hunts as well. Last year the 2 hunters I personally knew who had Muzzy 19a tags both killed 80"+ Antelope. There is so much good Antelope country in 19A, and you can never tell what a buck will do during the rut. He could be on Private for weeks, then leave it and jump onto public chasing tail. Good luck on your ML tag, I am confident you will find a buck that will be fantastic.
-
AZkiller- are you crazy? If you put the same amount of rifle tags on an early bull hunt during the rut, the amount of giants killed would be insane. Same goes for Antelope. From an average of 50% success to around 90%.

"Internet rumors" Kinda like high school. No checkout. The hunt is doing what it does every year, just this year, a few people from CWT have rifle, Archery and muzzy tags, so it is more highly publicized. As stated above the success rate is right on par with what it is every year. As far as size goes, some nice bucks have been killed, and get killed every year. During ALL hunts.
-
Lots of good bucks in 19a. There is always plenty for all seasons. Homework and scouting will be rewarded in 19A. If you have muzzy tag, scout your tail off the last 4 days of second archery hunt. Same with rifle, scout during Muzzy tag. If you put the time in, you will be rewarded with a nice goat.

Slick trick blade broke in foam target
HuntHarder replied to apache12's topic in Bows, arrows, broadheads
Do not make a mountain out of an ant hill... It is one blade, not multiple blades. Many scenarios could have happened. As stated above, they are great heads. -
As title says, I am trying to help a buddy out, he really wants a 1600-b, but his champagne taste doesn't match his beer wallet. Looking for pretty much any CRF over 900. If you have a 1600, let me know and I will try and pry a few more bucks out of him. Thanks,

There is no high success rate in archery Antelope . Look in the regs and the success rates will be shown.

Bittersweet moment... I had that same thing happen last year, except it was my #1. Buddy killed him on the first hunt and I had the second hunt for archery. Scored 85 and change.

PRDATR- I just did this with my 10x42 el's. Turn around time was close to 6 weeks and I was charged nothing. They come back in like new condition, with a new focus nob, couple of plugs on the hinges, and they even installed new nylon straps so I do not continue to wear on my magnesium body. I am pleased with their service. I did not ask about upgrading my lenses. They are spotless, and might even seem a little crisper, just because they are as clean as they were when they were new.

Great Video. Love the use of the trusty ole' 30-30. -
Jack- Have you had your bow chrono'd recently? Most calculators on that bow say it is not shooting anywhere near 250fps with that heavy of a head at 30" draw. If so, that is some serious KE.
-
My hunting partner killed a buck last year that we both misjudged because of his mass. Scored 74 with 12" and 12 1/2" horns. Mass was unreal. Still a nice buck with a bow, but we were a little shocked when the tape said 12"

Great write up Willhunt4coues. I completely agree with you. I misunderstood when you said used up 40moa to get gun zeroed. I thought you meant the gun was shooting 40 moa off from mounting the scope. You mean 40 Moa of the total adjustment within the scope. I get what you are saying now. My scope only has 45 moa adjustment and I installed a 20 moa base so I am able to shoot further. My scope bottoms out @ 1175 yards with the 20 moa base, so In theory, I used up 33 of my 65 possible MOA to sight in. Makes sense.

Not entirely true on SFP Vs FFP. SFP- If you are using the reticle for bullet drop (i.e. ballistic plex, TDS plex) or using the MOA on the windage for holding against the wind, you will need to be on max power for the bullet drops/ wind adjustment to be accurate. If you use a turret and just use the crosshairs, FFP and SFP have no difference. I have SFP with a Kenton turret for both windage and elevation. This makes FFP irrelevant. FFP- Great for rangefinding, using ballistic drop lines within scope and using MOA wind drift dashes to hold for wind. Hope this helps. Willhunt4coues- have you really had to use 40MOA to get a gun zeroed? I would have sent that thing back unless you are zeroing at 1200 yards. My rifle drops 25 MOA at 1k with a 200 yard zero. 70 Moa IMO is not needed unless you plan on shooting 1500 yards. I have seen your boy shoot, so I guess he might be the one who needs 70 MOA, still amazed at how good he is.

Barnhardt trail area holds plenty.. I have seen them atleast 5 miles south of that.

The new tag structure will make getting drawn for Buff a little easier.
