I have every respect in the world for Hughes and especially GSP for taking the fight on short notice. I think that my opinion of hughes really started toward the negative whenever I see him on the ultimate fighter. Whether its the way they portray him or not, he just seems like a pri#k. Anyway, I can't wait for the fight and if anyone has ever gone to the Rage In The Cage events they have here in the valley, I will be fighting in either March or April. Come out and support a fellow CWT member kick some a$$!

At $25 I'll take 2!

Its great to see so many mma fans on here! Although I have to disagree with most of you about Matt Hughes. I think he is a pompous a$$. One of his main reasons for taking the fight with GSP was because he took the fight on short notice. What kind of champion is that? If GSP had the normal amount of time to prepare for the fight I don't think Hughes would have a chance. It is awesome that he is hunter and what a stud of a buck. I would love to see Chuck knockout Wanderlei but I'm not sure thats going to happen. And as far as Rampage fighting Griffin, come on now, that fight will be a joke.

Find a high spot so that you can see ALOT of country. Be prepared to glass for hours and hours and hours. Be patient and don't just look for whole deer. Look for ears, tail, antler, rump, etc. These deer are alot smaller than the deer you're used to and 10x as wary. This time of year the bucks are starting to find the does so if you're seeing does, don't give up. Watch them until they bed,and then plan your stalk. And thats the easy part

What do you take into consideration when shooting uphill/downhill? Angle of slope? Arrow speed? Distance? Is there that much of a difference between shooting uphill or downhill at 40 yards than shooting 40 yards on flat ground?

How old is old enough to hunt?
mikep35 replied to SilentButDeadly's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
I think 5 yrs old is a little too early. Depending on the maturity of the kid, and given the parent(s) teach them gun safety first and foremost, I would say 10-12 yrs old to start small game/bird hunting.
