Pride fighters are just a different style of fighting. When you're in a cage, the style is more agressive, and you learn to use the cage as a weapon. It takes a long time to get used to. When you're in a Pride style ring you fight differently. The Pride guys can train for a few months in a cage but it takes longer than that to learn to fight that style. Thats why you can have a guy like Forrest Griffin beat Shogun, when anyone who knows mma can tell you that shogun is better by far. Plus you got the popularity factor of the UFC and nerves that always play a factor.

Yeah that caribou had a good defense but the bear had a pretty good take down and then took his back and it was all over. I think if the caribou had better ju jitsu he might have done better!

I agree. GSP is a class act and is very humble. Although I think sera is a nice guy who cared about his fighters on the show, I wouldn't mind seeing hughes shut him up. I think he got lucky by beating GSP,but I don't see it happening again. But the great thing about this sport is that anything can happen and anyone can lose on any given night

Man the last 2 fights were awesome. Chuck did fantastic, but I've never seen Silva fight like that. He is usually very agressive and attacks and overwelms guys. He got hurt early and was never the same after. He's got alot of heart for being able to take the punishment he did. Most people would've gone down with punches like that from Liddell. I'm ecstatic that chuck and GSP won.

I was just in 32 yesterday for some scouting for the day, and I saw a couple single does and 6 different bucks by themselves.

Its funny because Rampage beat Chuck twice, and Wanderlei destroyed Rampage, but Rampage beat Dan Henderson, who just destroyed Wanderlei Silva in their last Pride fight. Also, Shogun Rua killed Rampage, but lost to Forest Griffin! Now Forest is going to fight Rampage? Its like a "lets take turns beating each others a$$" round robin.

Man that sounds good. I'm going to a friends house for a UFC/birthday party so it'll be a great time. I really hope chuck can pull it off but I don't think it will happen. Go chuck and GSP!

I agree. If you decide to switch to the desert country, sneaking up on a coues deer is just as hard or harder than any hunting you'll ever do. If you're within range in the pines and have a chance to arrow one, you better take it

I hunt in 32 as well and I know there are plenty of lions in the area that I hunt. There aren't alot of deer back in there but there are good quality deer and NO HUNTERS! Anyway, congrats on a great old buck, and I'm going to try and smoke one with my bow in 2 weeks! Was he rutting?

I feel your pain, one of my best friends and hunting buddy is what I like to call a half-a$$ed hunter and I have to hunt with him on every hunt. I would just tell him to put his kids in separate to better the chances of getting drawn If you guys get drawn for the same hunt, just let him take his kids out and you take yours. You guys don't have to actually HUNT together. Its a tough situation I know, but you don't want to ruin yours or your kids' experience or worse have your kids pick up any bad habits. Just my $.02
