Tough hunt but fun to say the least. Good luck to all you 23 hunters......I think your going to need it. Hope it cools down for you, jake

Hey all, I was hoping for some advice on bino power. I have the choice of getting a 16 power or 20 power bino. Will be used on a tripod. Given the power of a 20X, would I have problems with heat waves etc during early fall hunts and is a 16 power adequete. I currently use a 10x42 Swarovski. Thanks for your help. Jake

Made some jelly for the first time out of the fruits this year. Had a hard time getting it the jelly like consistancy of store bought brands. Any advice out there???? I did boil it down for a second time and it became a little thicker. my kids love it. i also made a marmalade. A little bitter but very good. Jake -

I have a buddy who uses the pentax 16X50. He really likes them and the review on the 20X 60 is very good as well. It was reviewed by astronomers and as you know they are looking at night. Im just wondering about the quality in the daytime. thanks, jake

The dang website is down. Does not surprise me though. My card got hit with 2 83.00 dollar amounts and a 58.00. Looks like my buddy and i got drawn for elk and i got the javelina. Well see....... the math is right for the guess anyway. Went by the game and fish office and it was loaded with people looking like they were in line for tax return day. Funny to see grown men so anxious. reminds me of Christmas when it was new to me. Good luck to everyone. game and fish will come out with some excuse about the computer glitch. You would think they would prepare for a day like this. Take care, jake

Got my son a single shot 20 Guage. Cut the butt to fit right and put on a limbsaver pad. He shoots training loads like a champ. The training loads have minimal kick. I get them from ableammo.com. Good luck and have fun. Jake
