I call your 90% and raise you 99% are hunters who put cameras out. I have only known a hand full of birders but everyone I can ever remember wanted to view or photograph in person.

In 10 plus years of having a drop away, I have never had a single problem. I have known Bruce at the 27th ave sportsmans warehouse archery dept. for more than 30 years and he is the guy I have set up all my bows. He is very meticulous almost to the point where it will drive the normal guy crazy. I think you will be happy with whatever you decide but no need to be afraid of a drop-away if set up correctly.

We used to do real well with electric blue rubber works off of points. Evening and night was best.

BOB...................... you are a classic. Next you are going to tell us you know the numbers to yesterdays powerball.

Did not know that but it still does not change the fact that this is more gun and not a bow in any way. Shoot one of these arrow rifles all day long if you want but do it during a gun season.

There already are options & seasons for people with disabilities. Apply for an early rifle hunt/muzzy hunt and hunt it with a arrow gun if you want to hunt in Sept. This is what rifle & muzzy hunters have to do if this is the time period they want to hunt. There are already too many abuses of people using crossbows during archery season and this will take it to a whole new level IMO. If it is a temporary injury or recent injury we now have point guard and tag can be turned in without giving up points. Wasn't that one of the main arguments G&F made when defending it? I specifically remember them saying "life happens" and point guard is now there to protect you. I am a little confused on why G&F is doing this now when there are no other states that allow it. Looks like a solution in search of a problem to me. So many bigger issues than this and the dept. does not even address them. I have written G&F fish and encouraged others to do the same. No arrow guns during archery seasons.

I get that and I have a portal account. However, with 6 people in my family I somehow get my wife's info when I look up portal info. I set them all up with my email and G&F reset it once but now it is doing it again. Last year it was my son's info that would appear when I looked up my info. I have contacted G&F and just waiting for a response or reset.

Been two weeks since portal account holders could look up results and BP's but still not available to non-portal folks. This seems silly to me.

Up until this past Sunday I had all 3 that you describe. Just sold my 2001 4runner that I was planning on making my hunting rig but life happens and plans changed. If I'm by myself I will take quad every time. Faster, goes more places, more enjoyable to ride and easy to haul in back of truck. Got the side by side if 3 or less go and it is great but I always have to pull it with trailer. Not that big of a deal but something to consider. Vehicles are nice for temp purpose and even dust but they are very slow. In my experience, I have more mechanical issues with vehicles than I do with ATV/UTV. I used to beat the heck out of my 4X4 trucks but since I went to ATV/UTV route not nearly as much. Still have the pinstriping on truck but for most part don't use if for off road stuff very often. For cold weather driving some good winter gloves, bacalava and coveralls work great. I have had very good luck with Polaris products. Good Luck on whatever you decide.

I think when all the MVD people retire they go to volunteer as range masters at Ben Avery shooting range.

Bob, I bet you are a great guy................. when sober but you are like 2 for 93 with your basketball predictions. At least you are consistent. I say this with all due respect.

can you zoom in on the PT cruiser plates? We got robbed back in 2012 and the neighbor across the street and couple doors down got the perps on his security camera. Long story short, due to film footage the cops caught the two thieves and I know one of them was sentenced to 2.5 years in jail. 23 year old tweeker and he pawned all my wives jewelry and shop melted it down. good Luck finding who did it and getting your property back in good condition.

My buddy who has an early 20A tag will be happy to hear this.

I don't think theft has anything to do with the G&F decision to restrict cameras around man made water. They are concerned with the guys that run 100's of cameras in a single unit and have every buck/bull named. Something about fair chase. I also disagree with who many think are stealing cameras. IMO 90+% of theft is hunters and the rest are opportunist who stumble across them. I was convinced of this once I stopped placing cameras around water and put them 100's of yards away from water. Once I did this, I lost cameras during shed hunting season.

Have you seen some of those shiras moose in wyoming and utah? It looks like they are in high desert desert areas with open sage country. If we put them in unit 1, 27 & 7E they would probably adapt. G&F will not introduce non-native species but an interesting topic non the less.

I guarantee a lawyer helped write the rule and it was written like this on purpose. To you and I it may be confusing but to an attorney it is called wordsmithing. Vagueness leaves open the door of interpretation.

I think unit 9 elk has a lot of abusers as well.

Virtually every lake in AZ is man made so I'm guessing this will include the lake shores? Seems to be some grey areas with regard to to interpretation of the new rules. Don't care for the camera abusers but more govt regulation I dislike even more. Tired of always being told what I can or can't do by the govt. I would have to say the people who run dozens and even hundreds of cameras have nobody else to blame but themselves for this rule change.

This is easy for me. Have no interest in sheep and stopped applying 12 years ago. Mule deer all the way for me.

I once dropped my 15's and bent the lens housing. This happened on a Sunday evening. I shipped them Monday with fed-ex using overnight express. I had them repaired and returned to me on Thursday. I did call in advance on Monday morning explaining the situation and my opener was Friday. They said they would do their best but made no promises. I do not recall if I paid for shipping back or not. Their customer service is 2nd to none. I have since sent in my 15's and 10's two times for general cleaning and maintenance and they have had them back to me in less than 3 weeks. I took care of this in June both times.

Freedom of religion not freedom from religion. I am 54 years old and so ashamed of my generation. We have just sat apathetically by and let all this crap happen. Many years from now, when historians write about our generation I'm afraid they will not be kind.

If you are not a member or even if you are maybe it is time to show our support and solidarity for the 2nd amendment and join the NRA. If there was ever a time to join, now is it.

One of the saddest things I ever saw was an adult son get in a fight with his father. Believe me, you don't want to see it. -
