GunBlue490 has a two part Utube video that goes into great detail on glass bedding. I bedded my first rifle a couple of months ago and followed his instructions, rifle came out great. The videos are very long, but I needed all the help I could get on my first attempt. I bought a can of neutral color shoe polish at Walmart for about $4. His video goes into all the materials needed. I'm not savvy enough to post a link, maybe someone else can add that. Good luck and share a pic of how it comes out. Jim

Hi Adam I'm looking at upsizing my 14' Big Tex tandem axle to an 18 footer in the next couple of weeks. It's in pretty decent shape with 2 year old tires, new wood and recent bearing service done. PM me for a pic. thx Jim

Way to stick with it guys. A lot of kids wouldn't want to stay out after missing a nice buck.

Price lowered to $360.

My youngest killed a nice coues last weekend in 34A using his 260 Remington. The 143 performed great at 560 yards. The bullet exited the ribs completely leaving a hole big enough to easily pass a golf ball thru. Deer took maybe 2 steps and folded up. I really like how they shoot and they can flat out kill deer. Wish I had a picture of the exit wound but we were to excited to think about taking one.

143 ELDX gets a big thumbs up

Thx guys. We dropped almost 150 fps switching from 120 BT to the 143s. Accuracy was slightly better with the 143s. Current 143 recipe goes 2710 in a stock Tikka 22.6 barrel. 1 in 8 twist. We relied on Hornady's ballistic info. Never had an opportunity to verify before the hunt. Their info was pretty accurate. -

Good luck on your daughter!s hunt. His brother actually edged him out by exactly one inch this year. We got lucky twice. -

I ordered 8 pounds of H4350 in 1 pound containers. It's in transit and should arrive in a couple of days. I really don't need all 8, but wanted to spread the shipping cost. I'll sell 4 of them for half my cost. That works out to $124. That's seem to be a little less than current pricing. I paid $37 plus tax for the last two I bought locally. Must be willing to pick it up in Tucson. Thx Jim

Supply and demand. Found a couple of pounds at a local shop and it was $36.99 plus tax. Bought it anyway and felt lucky to get it.

Like new condition with carrying case. Nikon states that these are capable of 600 yards. I haven't verified that, but we had no problem ranging my son's coues at 425 yards last year. $100.00 Located in Tucson. Thanks Jim 520 349-2926
