Nice guy. His head looks pretty big??

There's a lot of water right now. Most of the water hasn't dried up in bordering units from earlier rains. The desert is so green. I'm surprised there isn't as much dirt tanks and watering holes on 19a

Wow crazy bull, thought it was only bucks. I think there was a cactus buck recently that had not nutts at all
-
Lol I was wondering what 14 feet meant. And it finally hit me. I think he means 2014. I thought it was distance too but it says 60 yards haha

Only federal migratory birds have mag restriction of 2+1. We got rid of our mag capacity and also allows supressors. If you were inclined to hunt with an AR and drum magazine go for it, for varminting. If you need a drum for pigalinas there might be issues lol

Are you challenging to a butt dragging race? In all seriousness though, the last 100 yards or so might be pretty brutal. Get low and drag yourself over some unforgiven terrain. Like he said It might be an hour or two for the last few yards to get into range.

Wow!! Hahaha.Yeah, my thoughts exactly... My daughter was due mid September in 2010 but I put in anyways cuz at that point I was 0 for 6 for elk. Of course that was the year I got my first elk tag, lol. I somehow managed to not miss her birth AND tag a bull, hoping for the same luck this year! That must of been a great year!! My son was born 2 weeks ago, been patiently waiting to hit the desert and forest

Creed if you still have a problem, then let's thin out the herd before season ends!! Road trip

I put mine in Tuesday before they posted online and in their email newsletter. Hoping that jumping the gun will get me a lucky tag with 0 BP lol. If I draw a bull and goat tag I think a power ball ticket is in my future. 3004, 3013, 3126, 3023, 3036 Can't wait till March!

I have to agree, AZ probably has the best overall elk hunts. Antler number size etc taken all into account. Even with increasing tag numbers and azgfd selling more tags instead of managing for quality, there are still great units for quality and other units for quanity. I do wish they would reduce the cow tags tho. Seems like too many. But on the topic, I don't think a federal tag is the way to go. Fed tag the funding goes to the fund to spend on crap like fast and furious, at least keeping it with the agency will stay amongst azgfd

That Creek is completely trashed. From pizza boxes to construction waste. It's quite flipping stupid that there's a federal correction center right there , and azgfd headquarters a couple of miles down. Right in their backyard

rclouse, if you don't have any bonus points, just put in with your friend and have at it. what more do you really have to lose aside from the app fee? If its a really good friend, its time well spent if you draw that lucky tag. If you had lots of bonus points and was worried, then yeah probably would be a good idea to leave him off.

Stamp(s) question
khmer6 replied to stoney4325's topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
in the fall you will need your az hunting licesnse. for duck, a federal stamp. the state stamp has been eliminated. for dove, the migratory bird stamp. -
which unit have you been spending in? in 20a, try to stay on the southern portion of the unit.

Stories all dried up or everyone out there hitting it board before season closes? There's gotta be more#!

Runs into Feb, but right now it is probably the hottest

I applied with 0 BP, so we shall see how it goes. Maybe you can hide it behind an executable file or something? Someone can run what hunt number and # of BP they have in a pop up box, program spits out the result. Just so as long as no one can reverse the code.

Congrats and great pics

If you are on a mobile device you can tap the post and a quote button appeara. If on appears computer there should be a quote button on someone's post somewhwre. I prefer to read forums using tapa talk or chrome mobile. It gets me straight to the content without any ads, pop ups etc, and I can see topics that I haven't read or participated in a lot easier
