Nice set of pigs. I don't know why but they liked young to me. Not like babies of juvenile but more of young adults. Still good eatings If you are using android download a player like mx or wondershare otherwise play on a computer.

Hmmmm I'm going to have to reencode this to mp4.

Wow!!! I didn't even see the pre regs posted yet with all the suggestions. I was trying to look for it. And here's the full blown cover page.

finally found this spot. was wondering why the heck was there a big giant brown area in the middle of the woods. thought it was some kind of old farm land
-
Never stepped foot in this unit before. Was going up to Williams with the kids to Bearzona and wanted to drive through the woods a bit but don't have a clue of any destinations, water or hills. Just want to take a look around and see if we can spot anything. Anyone have a link of some spots to check out or anything or the sorts? I'm not even sure if this is the right unit, but looking at the two maps it would appear so, south of Bearzona

fantastic bulls. his buddy must of been sniffing him out

thanks. whitehorse, dogtown, williams mtn, sycamore canyon all look like great places to start.

If they take away M hunting this situation still wouldn't of been avoided. They would of thought they were in 6a or whatever and still used firearms not knowing they were in a different GMU. A lot of these M unit hunts are usually around because of the people in those units want the animals out due to conflict. Just because one was a cop doesn't make him any better than you or I. Agreed they should be punished for their mistakes, to what extent really depends on the situation/intent. Firing a centerfire rifle that close to town is quite scary though, I would assume it was a fairly heavy caliber if they were elk hunting. That in itself is endangerment. I'm glad to hear the meat was donated

Here you go. http://www.coueswhitetail.com/forums/topic/54319-friday-whos-hunting-piggy/ Not an easy hunt. mainly 26m, 38m, and the preserve. Only seen 1 success for 2014 so far. seemed like there were more OTC pigs down in 2013
-
Theres another thread here that I posted the regs for the metro unit OTC archery. There is also the year long mohawk valley hunt I believe as well for rifle.

how do those A-max hold up against game? I've only ever used the V and A-max for plinking. SST for game

Early rutter. Must be pumped full of hormones ha

great times. my 4 year old loves to scout and get high to glass. once he finds tracks, he starts ducking down and follows them making piggy noises. carrying that extra weight will definitely help condition you :-D My soon to be one year old is already 30 lbs, so I'm not sure if I'll be carrying him around once he's ready to hit the desert flats haha

yes sir!!! corn/dog food fed piggy!?!?!? lol

This is from the "Spring 2014" regs which was released last year in 2013. az_spring_2013.pdf
-
Their body armor is tougher than a lot of people tend to believe. Even FMJ from a pistol can sometimes have a hard time punching thru
-
Look in the spring regs for LAST year. I have the pdf somewhere if anyone needs it

what gun is that in your avatar? it looks like a beast.

no worries. we all know change in government goes slow. the whole salt/baiting thing is really bad, there are so many different answers floating around. best advice is to just proceed with caution. as far as the caliber changing goes, not sure how often they look into this matter, but if i remember correctly, the weapon types for turkey was recently changed? last couple of years maybe? So getting the 17WSM added may be just a matter of a few e-mails from folks to put it in motion. Not saying it'll happen quick but eventually they will take down the 22 caliber or larger restriction (which across the nation is usually a common rule) It looks like for Javelina general 5mm or .22 magnum rimfire is legal but .17 magnum and 22 rimfire is now. I don't see any game that 17 magnum is legal for the take. As far as air rifle goes, they need to be precharged and .35 caliber or larger. Change doesn't happen if no one speaks up. If you have ballastics charts or research I would submit that to them. I'll even send them an e-mail as well and voice your opinion. I think we should all have options on what is legal and not, and if its a humane way of putting down an animal then why not. If you say the 17WSM is a candidate for taking down a javelina, then I am with you on making progress.
