I am very new to long range shooting, so if you don't use a bipod (that's what I was planning on using) what do you use while in the field?

My first archery buck no good

I did the same thing a while back, never did find my deer but the one thing I learned was next time I won't chase the deer right after I shoot because he just keeps running away instead of bedding somewhere to die. And the more ground he covers the worse.IMO hope you find your deer. Good luck -
Thank you

This looks cool but do I have to have Internet when actually using the app? I don't ever have cell reception while hunting/shooting -

Very cool, I have wanted to do this. Do you boil off as much meat as you could first then bury? Or bury then boil it clean and coat it? Or just bury and dig up?

I know it's a long way away but I will be going to 12a for the later turkey hunt it is my first time to the area, as well as my first time hunting turkey. Anyone have advice on how to? Will calling still be working? What is the weather like during that time?

Well after chasing a lot of the small game az has to offer I have always wanted to get into duck hunting but have no idea where to start. I personally can't remember the last time I even saw a duck. I have gone to game and fish website and read what they have to offer or at least what I can find. I live in Tucson and hopefully looking to get decent duck hunting within 100 miles if possible. If not let me know il explore all options. If anyone can point in an area to start I'm not asking for exact spot but I would like more info than (35A/B) I read on game and fish website those are good for duck but is there anything closer? Maybe picacho peak or red rock area? I have an an aluminum boat so lakes could be an option. Basically I need a dumb explanation on how to at least see the first duck. Anything appreciated, you can PM me if you don't want to give away any spots. I would be more than willing to give up my dove spot or quail

Awesome bull, awesome shot congrats to both you and the hunter -
Might want to look into this, you can pick up a second Javi tag if they are still available for the area http://www.coueswhitetail.com/2013/08/2014-womens-javelina-hunting-camp/

I don't hunt dove all that often but I went out Sunday evening and sat a little water hole where they just kept flying in and I got my limit in about 45 minutes. Well I went again this morning but sat in a field where they fly over head from cover to a nice big field and usually do wel but didn't have any luck at all. Although the other two hunters got to the spot earlier than me forcing me about 200 yards from my spot. No big deal its public land still had fun. My question is do you hunt dove the same at night as morning? Would it beneficial to sit in my usual spot where they fly in, in the morning or do dove typically go water at night?

Anyone know a good website to buy ammo, maybe free shipping and no tax? Looking for something I can feel comfortable using. Primarily looking to get .22 ammo I can't seem to find it anywhere in Tucson

Well this was my second attempt at coyote hunting and I had some success. It was an awesome day ground was still wet from all the rain, nice and cool out in 37a. Started after I had some time free I got out around 3 and found success on the first stand! He was a little dog but the first for me and definently not the last. At about 5 I had to leave so was only able to be out for about 2 hours but met some very nice ranchers who stopped to ask me if I would come take care of the coyote problems they have been having getting their barn cats. So I will be out there tomorrow mid day hopefully some more good news to follow! Little dog but first Unfortunately I found this horse laying in the desert looked to be a recent death Some helicopters flying right over me, very cool Great view

I'm also curious about the 20% I saw $20 off when you spend $100 or more.

This may be a stupid question but when you say sit over the horse do you mean morning, evenings, all day? Do I do any calls or just sit? Thanks guys
