I went out to set up my trail camera the other day and headed towards a stock tank I found these tracks It looks to me to be a coatimundi? Also in a totally different canyon I found tons of scat. And I mean a lot it was everywhere I couldn't look down without seeing it. I also found feathers of mearns quail in multiple beds of whatever this animal is! So what do you think this is? I put my trail camera on its path so hopefully il find out!

It Is a southern unit. And the scat is definently, NOT related to the tracks they were found very far apart. Thanks for the replys!

Here is a photo to give the tracks a size comparison. Also it's hard to tell but there is no hair in any of the scat otherwise I too thought it was a coyote! Still could be though!

I have an older Remington 1100 that I completely went through cleaned and replaced older parts. It has a fixed full 30in barrel on it and I was looking at getting a new barrel. I love the 1100 so I was wanting to buy a new barrel where I can change out the chokes. I already have a slug barrel and this fixed full 30in I was debating on buying either 26 or 28. I will mostly be using it for dove/quail but also want it for duck! So 26 or 28?

I had the same problem it didn't like my cheap Winchester ammo it was to light to kick it out. After doing some research I came to the conclusion you need something 1200fps or higher. Also I gave it a good cleaning and oil. Just my .02 I could be way off but mine works perfect now. Just pick up a box and give it a shot good luck

I use a canon powershot, and for the price I swear it is probably the nicest camera around. I would venture to say comparable to cameras in the 400-500 range. You can find them on craigslist or pick one up at Walmart

Yes don't get it! I weigh 170 and still feel like I'm sleeping on the ground and the air just pushes out around me. It's better than nothing but wouldn't recommend buying one.
