It's interesting if the elk count is semi accurate at 35,000 because for 2015 24,791 tags will be issued. So 71% of the population! -
Thanks so much helps a lot!

Well fhis evening about 30 minutes before dark I shot this urban stinker and carried it back to the house to get pictures and hang it and get working on cutting it up. 20 yards quartering away dropped instantly 60lb omen gravedigger broadhead. Not the biggest ever but I am happy to get my second pig of the year!

It was weird at first just walking out the front door bow in hand. It's a small area I have to hunt but thick so you feel like your in the middle of nowhere
-
Doesn't sound like to many of you guys are hunting javelina in the southern units (south of Tucson)! Good there are no pigs here anyways

What a toad! I have never been to the strip but I see a yuca in the upper right.

These were all taken in 35A? -
Yeah the metro areas, I am lucky enough to grab my bow and walk behind my house to hunt metro piggies. But they seem to be only wanting to come out in the dark! Trying to finish 2014 with my second pig for a New Years pig roast

Is this someone baiting? (Pictures)
Coues assassin posted a topic in Black Bear or Grizzly Bear hunts
Yesterday while hiking to set up cameras in a new area I had never been to I stumbled upon this. Saw Lots of bear sign in the area (southern az unit). Looked like buckets used for baiting but not sure what do you guys think? -
I have heard nothing but great things about havalon. I am looking at a good skinning knife and there are many types. What do you guys suggest?

So I will be headed out this weekend for opening archery deer and it looks like we are gonna get some rain. It's not gonna stop me from hunting in fact I think it makes for a much better hunt. So what do you need to do to keep your bow safe? Is it ok to get rained on all day then clean at camp that night? Avoid the bow getting wet at all cost? Etc
-
I was looking at the piranta and saw it came with 12 replaceable blades. So when one get dull do you just toss it or can you keep sharpening? How many times do you change the blade on say just gutting and skinning a deer

Ideas on conserving our game.
Coues assassin replied to coues32's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
Close majority of the roads that spider web through every unit. 1)hunters will stop hunting If they have to walk and 2) lower success rate and same amount of tags issued so same profit for G&F -
Where are you located?

No he can't, he can put up fences though to keep his cattle in an area but cannot restrict access. Don't cut the fences just climb them
