IMO the later in December you can go the better. Especially in these southern units the rut doesn't seem to Kick in until January maybe the end of December. I think the later you go the better chance you have of seeing more rut activity.

Well made work out of the last evening with a quick 45 min limit. Can't wait until late season this was definently the best season I have had in a while. All public land all season

It all stayed in! The first batch I lost very very little but mostly cause I had to high of heat it's hard to judge when the meat was fully cooked for me but I learned medium heat is the trick and that cream cheese will stay put. Another tip soak ur toothpicks or whatever in water for a few hours to avoid them catching on fire!

I have no clue but man just thinking about javelina hunting come January and seeing the pics gets me excited! And it's to early for me to get this excited when it's so far away

Looks awesome! I have done 2 batches so far I do something similar maybe give it a shot some time. De breast, soak in some Canada Dry about 2 hours, slice jalapeños in half (use canned must better than fresh they soak in that juice) scoop out seeds fill with cream cheese put half a breast on it and wrap in maple bacon, grill on about medium Heat for 15 minutes! Came out amazing both times!

Went out again this evening forgot to take pics but finally we pulled off a 2 man limit!

IMO I buy my camo based on comfort, quality, and of course $$. If it happens to have scent blocker its a bonus, not sure if it actually works or not but figure it can't hurt. I always wash my clothes in the Scent away products and spray my clothes before going into the field!

Went out again this morning, pretty slow only 15 birds between 2 of us but still fun! Tried 2 new recipess this evening Jalapeño stuffed with cream cheese wrapped in maple bacon. Turned out great on the grill Second batch we tried fried, let them marinate in buttermilk, red devil Hot sauce,and some spices! Turned out great!

Someone beat me to the punch on this response but what about the situation of the guy that shot that sheep with Sonoran outfitters? He went back to them 2 or 3 times until the sheep incident happened. Should he have to suffer the consequences?
