is it me or does it seem that this forum is getting more and more popular...recently there has been a lot of talk about seeing stickers on other vehicles

try archery headquarters in chandler. dont be embarassed at all...a bow is a bow and it will kill something you dont need anything top of the line or special...my uncle for example bought a really old PSE bow...on basically his 1st hunt he shot a javelina with it...any bow will work. Take it a shop and they will tell what u need...hope this helps a little...p.s you are gonna fall in love with archery hunting once you start...im excited for ya

grim just get out and scout u aint gonna find a 370" bull sitting on the internet....im not trying to be rude...just get out in the woods that is where your answer will lie...not on the internet...scouting will increase your success i believe it...good luck on the hunt and i hope he makes his "dreams come true"....although any elk should do it....the people who get big elk work there a$$es off to get them..

i just used the elk bugle call...and did what u guys said...it works great sounds just like it almost...another little trick to the arsenal

ive heard it before too...on my cow hunt last year in 23...the bull in the herd we were hunting was rutting hard and it made a strange like popping noise...i was like what the heck was that....DUG who is my uncle was with me and he said it was "glunking"...it was really cool

http://www.coueswhitetail.com/bookstore/books.htm look through the bookstore on this site, and look specifically "How to Hunt Coues Deer" very well written and informative book... the best thing you can do is get out and watch and study these animals yourself thats where you are really gonna benefit, not just from us telling you about them...go out and watch them....you will have an enjoyable time...who knows maybe you will tell us something about them that we dont know...anyways good luck...you are gonna love watching and hunting these deer

i hope you all keep steve irwin in your prayers he was one heck of a guy...watched the memorial service it was emotional for everybody, especially when his daughter gave a little speech...dang im gonna misswatching him....anyways thought i would share with u all...last weekend me n my buddies were taking some people home it was about 2am we were heading south on val vista and all the sudden up ahead about 200ft some drunk driver was all the way in our lane coming the other way directly towards us at easily over 70mph...my friend who was driving slammed on the brakes and swerved towards the right(curb)...and at that instance i just closed my eyes cuz i thought we were gonna hit. i thought my life was gonna be over....but thankfully and we still dont understand how he did not hit us he drove on by...someone had to be watching out for us...i still can not believe we did not get hit....it was a miracle....it put life in perspective for me and how quickly it can really end....it would have easily been a fatal car accident...i can only say that god was watching out for us that night.....dang drunk drivers just would of been another statistic

good luck...have a great time chasing them around best time of the year for me...I still think i like hunting elk more then deer especially when they are rutting....
