Lord I hope they do that for me!!!! I just checked UPS tracking and my EL's just arrived at the repair place in Rhode Island today but they haven't called yet I've never had to use the warranty service, have heard all the good things, but I'm putting them to the test with this repair job! Congrats on the new purchase, you won't regret it.....I NEVER leave home without my 56's What happened to your EL's, how bad were they? Jim, BB's El's were not crushed like yours but they were in bad shape. At least I thought so. So I called Swaro and they said send them in. The lady told me that as far as they are concerned its their product and they will fix it. But one thing she did mention to me was that they were going to become more strict on their warranty because I guess too many people were taking advantage of it. She did not go into any details on it. Hopefully it goes smoothly for you.

Its fun to see all the commotion about new binos coming out. When Vortex came out with there stuff, there was a lot of hype, but when I finally got a chance to look through some pairs I laughed and was dissapointed, people talked them up way too much . I am getting the same vibe for the new Nikons , I doubt they are going to be brighter more or less 6% brighter..its just a marketing scheme because when people hear that, its going to strike the curiosity of that person to look through a pair. I predict that the new Nikons are going to come in with a bang but in the end will not sell as much as they expect them too. I am not putting Nikon down but I just dont think they will have a product better then, like Jim said Swarovski or Leicas. They might be close, but not better IMO. Swarovski's will always hold a dear spot in my eyes and heart nothing or no one will change that

Go up there as much as you can to familarize yourself with the whole unit. I would not start "hardcore" scouting till two weeks prior to the hunt. You dont want to spend the the whole hunt looking for bulls, do your homework prior that way you can be ready opening day. You have waited seven years for your tag, make it count!
