My Rights As An American replied to johnnie blaze's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
Good luck and go get him. But, uh, just in case, why don't you just let me know where he is so that if you miss, I will be there in January to avenge the previous misses. Sound good? You can simply send me the coordinates, it that is easier! -
My Little NM buck!
My Rights As An American replied to CouesWhitetail's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in New Mexico
That is actually the kind of buck I need to find, permanently "special" and slow footed due to injury or abnormality, allowing me to get off as much lead as possible in hopes of connecting with something, anything, before he runs over the next hilltop! Yeah, I shoot like Helen Keller at times! -

Great story, great pics. Glad to hear you were seeing deer, but bummed that you did not get a chance to seal the deal. Ah, that is not what the hunt is all about anyway. Your story and pics make the hunt, not the antlers! -
Strange request and a long shot.
My Rights As An American replied to redline410's topic in Trail Cameras
Tremendous buck, BTW. I think your request is very reasonable, you have already harvested the animal, you are not e-scouting which seems to be frowned upon. -

All grown-up elk were once children too!
My Rights As An American replied to xr440dude's topic in Elk Hunting
Cool video, I saw that some time ago and thought how much fun the elk was having! I wish we could still play around in the mud, but I have to work right now. Which reminds me, why am I responding to threads instead of working on a Friday? -
Great bucks! Congratulations to the hunters!

Nice find! On my hunt this year, I found four coues sheds, none of which were very small! One had a nice cheater point coming off the G3, which was pretty large already. I found three of the four on our last day of hunting, as well as the day my buddy shot his nice coues. I need to get some pictures of the group of sheds (plus the one my friend found). Nice little collection. I think the combined total of the five sheds was scoreable 22 points. Fun times!

New Politically correct term
My Rights As An American replied to bowsniper's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
How about the new one being used by the liberals for illegal aliens? It is not really Undocumented aliens (UDAs) as much as the new term they are starting to use--Victims of the human smuggling trade! VICTIMS!!! -
Short and Sweet
My Rights As An American replied to ruffcountry's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
What a great deer, and it sounds like that the action was continual for your short hunt. Something always happening around you, keeps the hunt much more fun! -

What a jaw-dropping amazing deer! Congratulations to the hunter!!! -
My mistake, I thought you were talking about the more recent fire. My apologies. Thank you scoutm for correcting me and providing the proper link.

Welcome to the site, look forward to hearing your stories this year. As for the fire, check out this older thread from a few weeks ago. http://forums.coueswhitetail.com/forums/in...showtopic=15760

Thunderhead and Muzzy, 125 grains. I have never had problems with either over the last 20 years. I have stocked up on Thunderheads for the next 15 years already!!!

I agree with many other posters, it is not your spot, it is not their spot, it is no single person's spot. You did your homework and they seem to have also. Get there first and enjoy! They may get there late or not show up until later in the hunt. They may push a monster or a dink right into your shooting lane. It is just as much your spot as anyone else's. If you are there and they show up and cause a problem, head to spot B or C and make as much noise on the way out as possible!

Most dangers unit to hunt in the southern units
My Rights As An American replied to joeybari's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
I have watched 36C in particular deteriorate over the last 20 years at an amazing rate. It is now expected to run into illegals and drug runners everywhere you go in that unit, including the higher mountain passes. My family will not join me on my hunts down there due to the fear of falling vicitim to one or the other while I am away hunting. The trash piles and environmental disaster created, not including the devastating toll it places on game in the unit year-round, cause this to be one of the most dangerous units and one that you expect to run into illegals or drug runners everytime you go out. And yes, I think of them equally dangerously because their actions of being here illegally either way are criminal activities unto themselves, so who knows where their criminial activities and their limits are. I wish the bleeding heart environmentalists would quit turning a blind eye to these activities, but that would put them at odds with their myopic liberal idealogy. But yes, ManBearPig is definitely a serious concern in this unit also. He has been spotted nearby. I am super serial! -

Any unit that starts with the number three, and not because of illegal aliens or illegal drug activity, but because of ManBearPig, who is half man, half bear and half pig! Just ask Al Gore! He is super serial! -
