Strange in Unit 22N- Your thoughts??
My Rights As An American replied to ready2hunt's topic in Elk Hunting
On a side note, while camping this weekend, we pulled into a spot Friday after dark and must have split up a heard hanging around there. Got out and the cows and calves were REALLY vocal, but more crazy was the number of bugles and bulls we heard going off for 15 mintues SOLID!!!! This was in 6a, however. -
Strange in Unit 22N- Your thoughts??
My Rights As An American replied to ready2hunt's topic in Elk Hunting
I want proof! Show me the pics (and the coordinates, please, I have a 22n archery bull tag!)!!!!! Very cool, saw a nice heard in a lower area on my way through last night. Need to check the area out soon! And, I would not be upset if you sent me the coordinates! -
Hey, one way or another you got some! Glad it worked out!

Man on a wire! they are replaying his awesome walk across little colorado!!
My Rights As An American replied to CouesWhitetail's topic in The Campfire
Ah, it is like watching NASCAR. I do not watch it to see them make left turns all day long in a circle, I want to see the crashes!!! Just kidding! Glad he was not injured. Heard the winds were brutal for the walk. -
Oh yeah, those are just highlights. It is the latest rage in does right now. All the does are doing it! Instead of "peppered" hair, this is "salted" hair!

Anyone want to take me and my kids Striper fishing???
My Rights As An American replied to Big Browns's topic in Fishing
Sounds like a nice fair deal! Wish I could help, but the only time I fished for stripers was from shore at Lake Powell this past March. Did well. -
Great questions. Also, what kind of cuts could one expect? Is there ground? Roasts? Filet mignon/porterhouse/t-bone cuts? I think a little more info would definitely fire up the interest even more! Hey, I wouldn't be asking questions if I was not interested!

Welcome to the board. How about a price? Posting up a few more details? Lots of very serious shooters on this site and more details may really help you sell the gun quickly! Again, welcome! -
Yeah, this picture, along with a few others with it, have been floating around the web for a few years. I believe the picture was taken in Texas as already mentioned. Also, PRDATR, you cannot "like" your own posts!!!

The amount of money and resources to find his body even though we know he has been dead for 40 years is ridiculous. How many of these wild goose chases have there been in the last 40 years?

There is a larger hole as you can see in the picture along the top edge of the pelt, the right side, but it does not go far into the pelt, could be sewn up easily or trimmed around due to its location and you would not know the difference. Sorry the pics are poor, my camera phone stinks. -

Also, at one point I wanted to get into making things with antlers, but I never dedicated enough time to be excellent at it and make a business-go of it. While in the process, I made quite a few items such as wine bottle holders. I have this two-bottle holder made of five antlers. It holds two standard wine/alcohol bottles and makes a nice centerpiece. $40--the antlers cost more than this! -

Anyone ever dealt with Nikon Service/Repair?
My Rights As An American replied to PelaPapas's topic in Optics and tripods
Very glad to hear others had better luck than I did. Maybe I just got a bad service person who refused to answer questions or do the work? -
Thanks elkster9, will call you soon.

Anyone ever dealt with Nikon Service/Repair?
My Rights As An American replied to PelaPapas's topic in Optics and tripods
I sent in my monarchs and they did a horrible job. They stayed in contact with me through their own website, but did not complete the work I had asked them to look at. They were out of the eyepiece caps and told me they would send them to me when they came in. About 2 months later they sent me the wrong eyepiece caps and never corrected it. They also never responded to my questions about how to get the scratches in the lenses out and how much it would cost or how it was done. Very displeased with their service and has made me rethink whether I would buy Nikon products again. Bummer, but that is the truth. Really like their products, but their service leaves a ton to be desired. -
