Did you see the 48 pound bear registered on the list in that news clip? Wow, seems a little small but to each their own if legal. Never taken a bear yet, have not tried, but if a 48 pounder walked up to my stand, I would be more likely to pet it and feed it than shoot it! Maybe talk in one of those cute little voices, "Oh, look at how cute you are! Poor wittle bearry. Where is your daddy?"

I have a Weatherby Vanguard 257 Weatherby Magnum in excellent condition with less than 30 rounds fired down barrel. This gun is a dead shooter! Three minor nicks on the trigger guard from handling. Gun has leupold base and rings, Bushnell 4-12 scope with a few ring marks, bottom plate release and one box of 20 handloaded rounds. I can add a brand new, in the box, Caldwell 13-27 inch bipod in the deal if interested. Try archery talk.com first before eBay. TONS of used stuff for great deals and a wealth of knowledge on archery stuff from around the country. Bought lots of stuff from there, including two bows. Coueswhitetail.com is the best site out there, and archery talk is wonderful just for archery stuff.

Few days late, but happy birthday big brother! Kids baked you a birthday cake on your birthday and we sang. Miss you and love you a ton. Girls are growing up way too fast, baby boy is now almost three. Red Sox just won the World Series for the third time in 10 years! It was a fun season to watch. Did not get my first ever turkey yet but I know you are watching over me and trying to make it happen. I know that you are watching over all three kids and that provides a bit of comfort. Left you a beer on your birthday like always.Tried to call again but no answer. Not sure when I will stop trying to hear your voice again, but I sure wish I could at least one more time. Sitting here handing out candy while the kids trick or treat. Sure missed you watching the World Series clincher last night. Wanted to celebrate with you, not the same satisfaction in life as it used to be. Love you and miss you more and more everyday.
