For the price you cannot beat this deal for a threaded heavy barrel brand new with scope. Not sure how many 10/22s come with a threaded barrel or if they are all aftermarket. Accuracy is fairly equal between the two. Maybe a bit better with the remington versus the standard 10/22. Far more aftermarket options with the 10/22, however. But for more much cost.

Yikes. No but I will do some research. Everything I read said it prefers high speed ammo. Will do some research though.

I rarely post to these threads because I have never had a problem dealing with anyone on here. However, I must add bpursell to this list of good guys to deal with. He was very accommodating and patient when a small issue arose.
