Do I grease the inside and the outside? Should I just stick with the rubber ones instead? Not mentioned online that I have seen about how to grease the poly ones. Thanks everyone! Really appreciate your experiences as they give me more confidence to tackle this one.

Yes the rack and pinion bushings. The set of three. Was looking at the poly and not the rubber. Do I grease them heavily? Been trying to read up a ton and there are not many videos available surprisingly. Sounds like toughest part is pressing out the old bushings while rack and pinion is still attached but bolts out.

Was there this weekend and bass were all over the shallows. Would not take anything I threw (I stink at bass fishing!). Could not get my motor started so I was limited to one cove only. Tournament at the lake had 175 boats and probably at least a couple hundred more on the water. Was craziest I have seen Roosevelt in years if not ever. Now I need to figure out how to fix my mercury 40hp. Bass seemed to be healthy numbers everywhere I could see. Lots of big carp cruising.

Friends have used Kachina Marina (?) next to Roosevelt Lake with great results. Will probably bring my boat there if I cannot get it done myself.

What is daily permit on rez to fish now?

Last time I was there was close to 15 years ago and my buddy had his fishing gear stolen right off the boat at lunch. Not sure I want to pay to fish a lake with no bass or crappie in any numbers. Just was not sure if they had come back over the last five years. May try but still undecided. Thanks.

I have the rifle Unit 23 hunt but have never hunted there before. I understand that there is a large number of tags there. I will have my 9 year old daughter and 10 year old niece but we are not road hunters. The kids hike with me. My questions are where the areas to avoid the concentrations of hunters? Where do most hunters camp and hunt? What areas should I avoid because of this? If you have some areas you are willing to share feel free to pm me directly. I plan on at least two scouting trips but want to make them count. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
