Today is now 10 years since my brother’s brutal murder but it feels like yesterday. Still waiting for a call to hear him say “hey there little brother”. I can still hear his voice and inflections. I still have his old cell number programmed and scroll through it once in a while and wonder if I should call it just to say something to him or whoever picks up now. Been a difficult 10 years thinking about what I did not learn from him in that time and how much my kids have lost without knowing him. So much lost unnecessarily.

I have now seen two of these at very close range, like 15 yards. Same area of the state but many miles apart.
