I never got around to reloading for mine. I had serious pressure issues with factory ammo ripped cases and flattened primers. Suspect I had gas issues but never messed with it to get it right. Still like the idea maybe need to look at it again.- 1 reply

The in person safety brief is tough not especially worthwhile. It does last 3-4 years don’t remember but makes it a little more worthwhile. Plenty of opportunity on Navajo but some nice bulls are around. A good mature 6x6 is not an unreal expectation

I wouldn’t worry about the cancellations. Usually if something is restricted it’s a fairly small area with plenty of other options. Only time it really affected me was when a bunch of tornadoes came through right before the hunt even if it was open I don’t think I could’ve gotten in.

I’m running the elr in my .45. I was a little concerned about the bullet. Shot an antelope this weekend pass through on a double shoulder shot at 250. Accuracy has been good and after actual performance I trust it more now.

I’ve hunted Wy a couple of times building points and will do it again. Haven’t done NM but probably better quality and similar price once travel and time comes into play.

Drew an antelope muzzleloader tag. Used to hunt deer a lot with muzzleloader still have a cva optima I like comfortable to 200 yards. Technology has definitely changed looking at the CVA Paramount seems impressive anyone have experience with them. No issues using the optima but looking at options moving forward

I suspect it’s a lot like the VA or many other government entities some great people who want to help and an overwhelming amount of red tape which prevents it
