Hey Toad good luck on your scouting trip. Let me know what you guys find. I really think you guys will do well. I have a good friend that lives in Fredonia.He is always in 12b and said he has been seeing 2 really nice bucks the past couple of weeks.One is a 4x5 about 29 to 30 inches wide and thinks he will go around 195.the other is a 3x4 about 27 inches wide and he thinks it will go around 170 to 175.i think he will be more then willing to help you guys out.

Hi all.I am New the the forum. Thought I would share a picture of a big muley we were able to take on my dads strip hunt in 2010.

It was in the 2011 September/October issue of Muley Crazy. There were alot of pictures they were able to get from some of the outfitters up there. It really helped make it an awesome article.

He had 49 6/8" of mass.

It was an awesome hunt. There was a ton of time invested into scouting for that hunt.We saw a couple of really good bucks during that time that he would have loved to take.opening morning we went to one of the areas where we had seen one of the big bucks and found the entire area was covered by hunters and outfitters. On the second morning we decided to go just a little bit east of where we were opening morning. We glassed from sun up until about 9:30 or 10 when we spotted the buck bedded down under a big juniper. I ranged him at 922 yards.at that distance even with the 20x60x80 swarovaski spotter it was hard to tell just how big he was because he was in the shade and his rack blended in.my dad took off after him and was able to sneek within 217 yards and shot him in his bed.
