You didn't get drawn because you are holding out for certain tags. If you wanted to hunt it could have happened long ago. you are right... but I'm also not complaining.

Right now I'm sitting on 20 points for Elk and Antelope and didn't get drawn this year either. Your crying about having 5 and not getting drawn.... I don't feel bad for you. Sorry

Your an idiot... Bottom line is its stealing. .if it doesn't belong to you don't touch it..if you set up a nice camp and decide to backpack up the mountain for a couple of days does that consider your camp to be abanded? Would that then give someone the right to come in and take it?

This has been happening every year.. It should not be a surprise.. That being said why would anyone wait until the last minute to put in. Regardless of the deadline everyone knows on the last day the system always crashes. I'm sure if the game and fish could find a solution to the problem they would have fixed it long before now. I have a solution... Go back to paper apps. I'm sure alot of people don't like that but it's true. We never had this problem until they started the online system. I really hope they don't extend it. Kinda reminds me of a kid... If you keep cleaning up after them why would they clean up... They are going to just keep making a mess because you keep cleaning it up. Just like if AZGF extend the deadline again then people will continue to wait until the last Minute to apply. Nothing will ever change. Just my opinion

I apply in all 3 of those states.

I have been dead set on rifle unit 1 for years but feel like I will never get it. One thing I have realized is that points really don't mean anything unless you are in the max point pool. It just means you are one of the unlucky ones every year.. Lol... What I mean by that is a good majority of people draw with way less then max points.

I am trying to be patient.. Its just really starting to run out though. I have been going back and forth from unit 1 to unit 9.. I also have 16 points for deer and im trying my hardest not to fold. I know with all the points I have I need to hold out for what I want but it gets harder and harder ever year when I get on the computer and find out I drew another point.

Last year unit 9 was muzzleloader. This year it's back to rifle. Just don't think 17 is gonna get it this year.

Yes he does. When I talked to him he did say small bucks will be around. The big bucks are going to be dug in and few and far between. Wherever he hunts is not to far from his house. He goes out after work. He really thinks the 4x5 will show up again. I will keep you posted. But a 175" 3x4 is a great buck to have as a back up.

I hate to hear that! My buddy did say the numbers are down. I just got off the phone with him and he said he has lost track of the 4x5. However he did see the big 3x4 this morning. The offer still stands if you guys could use some help. He said it is in a location where most would not think to look.
