hello I have a early Remington model 788 in .243 cal. with a 24 in barrel It is in fair to good condition only reason I say that is the stock is the only thing that shows use but the barrel and action has seen no more than 300 rounds and been well maintained. the only reason I am looking to sell is to help fund some new optics looking to get $350 please no trades .. pm me any other questions you may have.

It really could of been the buck sometimes they will separate the hot does from the group and typically stay within sight.And yes they do have a musky odor when in rut.

Well after eating my November left over coues tag as well as the other 3 in my group I decided I would try to stick a buck with my bow. Day after day the couple hours after work I would go glass the near by mountains. After countless sightings and blown stocks on nicer bucks I took it down to the wire and settled for this last hour last day buck taken at 63 yards hard quartering shot. After impact he went no more than 40 yards before tipping and expiring, I'd like to say the slacker did the job.

Has anybody ever tryed using a home hydro dip kit on their bow. I have an old bowtech allegiance I would like to try in dip in an asat camo pattern. Any output would be great.

Yeah a gun stock seems pretty simple but as for an entire bow I know it would have to be stripped to nothing. But the question is will everything function correctly after the dip?

Same here we had 3 tags and only saw 7 cows in the whole week we were up their the elk were very spread out.

I'm looking at that dpms recon at sportsmans might pick one up.

36A is a great unit to hunt you just need to do all your homework and get far off the well traveled path

It's amazing what the great outdoors can do to bring peace to the soul. I lost a 4 month old nephew 2 days before my grandpa and one year after loosing my mom.but hunting and camping has brought peace back into our lives. My condolences to you and your family.

I scouted unit 9 all weekend for elk and saw bucks hanging at every camp nothing big tho.
