Thank you for the replies I will be headed up tomorrow morning for the week. It looks like I will be leaving the boat behind so I can do some stream fishing. If anybody sees an old blue 94 chevy with a CouesWhitetail sticker on the back window stop in for a drink or two.

Awesome thanks for the info the ones you did catch at big lake were they hitting on live bait or spinners or any preference in power bait colors?

Going up for a week just don't know if its worth it to bring my boat.mostly looking at Big Lake haven't been up since the fire.

Headed to the river tonight, my first time at this new spot.portion of salt river underneath roosevelt lake .trying to catch catfish. If anyone has any tips or suggestions please chime in.

Update the fishing was pretty good north of the bridge for us only problem was we could not stop catching catfish under 12" we could of ventured farther up river but cliff banks and a long swim stopped us as I had my 5 year old son and my brother had his little ones. We even got to see a bighorn come drink from the river.Needless to say it was a great trip and I will be back soon.

I stand corrected I did mean the portion of the river above Rosevelt lake. Last night we only managed to catch a 10 lb. turtle in 5 hours of fishing. Headed back up their now to see if I can do better.

Here is some grouping at 30 yards with some full medal jacket arrows the green/white vanes are blazer and black/green are fusion vanes so far very impressed with the Fusion.

They only got boxes of 50 for $10 left its a varmint round.
