Falconry and rabbit fields
Saguaro replied to spooby's topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
How long will a healthy one live? Do you need to take it to the Vet often for check ups? Are there common diseases for captive birds? Thanks for sharing, real cool stuff. -

Unit 3C - Motorized Vehicles Off-Road use to retrieve elk?????
Saguaro replied to rookyboy's topic in Elk Hunting
The good thing is that you're in 3C. Lots of roads there. You shouldn't have to travel too far from a road to retrieve. -
I agree. There are a lot of 370 6x6 killed every year it seems. But a 370 5x5 is beyond rare. Well done! Maybe the best Elk post so far this year. I love how the main beams grow towards each other. Thanks for sharing.

best place to procure for custom build
Saguaro replied to Green Bullet's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I too am left handed. Good luck searching. Most places will not offer much for left handers if you're only looking for actions. Most of the time, you will need to buy the rifle and strip it down for a nice custom job. I'm always looking for used left handed guns every where I go and on the web as well. Years ago, I bought a used 700 CDL from someone on here for $500 and had a custom built. That is about the most I will spend on a used gun that I plan on using as a donor. It can take a long time to find one to use as a donor. Like I said, I'm always looking out for deals on used rifles. lefty guns are hard to find because, the left handers don't usually get rid of them. -
Could be a murder weapon.

Stag and Rock River makes left handed AR rifles. I think they're worth the money. I only have one, it's the 4L Stag model with the 20" barrel and it's great. I started with a right hand model and didn't have problems with the brass, but it bugged me with the right hand eject. Look up Vickers Tactical on YouTube. He shoots just about every AR left handed. If you're going to introduce her first, try to find a brass catcher or deflector on a right handed model. Can't comment on the Mini 14.

Tri City Transmission in Tempe. It's next to Tempe Marketplace. They rebuilt two of my Transmissions. Different vehicles by the way.

That's neat! I was a seasonal worker for the USFS out of Clifton in 98 and would always see them in or near the Mine. It makes sence that they would go to the lawns and the water at the houses but I would never see them there. I would often stop at the Conoco to get my dinner, too bad they weren't that close when I was there. Thanks for posting.

It looks like they killed Dick Matt

I was never a member, I would sign in with a buddy's password just to see the pics. I remember there was a young guy on there that really liked posing and posting his picture. I got a kick out of that. It's been so long since I've been on there, I had no idea it's gone. For Arizona, this is the best place.

I've been dreaming of a new toy for quite a while now. I would like a real accurate 22 cal centerfire that would push a 45 or 50 grn bullet around 3000 fps. I already have a m700 in 223, so I was thinking about a 22 K Hornet or a 221 Fireball. I made up my mind that it will be a Cooper Custom rifle. Does anyone have experience with the K Hornet or the Fireball? How about Cooper Rifles? Any ideas/opinions are appreciated. Thanks

I've read it, own a copy. I was the same way, once I started I had to finish.
