I was planning on posting mine. Nice rifle. They're the best 22 out there. So much so that I feel bad for the younger people. They really have no idea what an accurate 22 bolt action is. These things go for a lot of money but they're worth it.

Tac, That's a Browning SA 22. It's a good semi auto for left handed shooters.

I think it's a Smith and Wesson. Straight Line??? I don't know if that's the name. I remember hearing about it 25 years ago. Single shot Match pistol. It's supposed to be real nice. How did you get it?

Try to retrieve the serial number and post it here and a few other places. If you don't have it, maybe the gunsmith that built it has it on record. Never underestimate the gun community. There might be people looking for a 280 ackley and will find your post when searching. That is a sort of uncommon round. By that I mean there aren't as many 280 ack's as there are 270's, 280 Remington's or WSM's. Add the custom part and the fact that it's a Remington and it narrows it down more.

I went there last Saturday and I drive what I think is a nice super duty. I always like to park far away to protect it from door dings. It was real busy that day and I noticed an SUV sitting near where I was going to park. There were two people in the vehicle. I decided to park somewhere else. Those people could have been waiting for someone that was shopping as far as I know but I got the feeling they marked me so I parked somewhere else. I went inside to buy a pelican gun case. As soon as I made it through the doors, I turned around because it looked like there was about a 45 minute wait to get to the cash registers. I decided to come back on Sunday as soon as they opened. No way was I going to wait that long to pay. I know Cabelas has always been a target for theives so I try to watch out for that. I didn't have anything worth stealing but I figure car theives are always hunt there.

Thanks, I didn't know they get that involved. It's a good thing they didn't come by the house I grew up. It wasn't bad, believe me, but it looks like they want perfection. Hopefully they look at the big picture and that part of the process is real quick.

What is the home study you guys talk about? Good job guys, the world needs more of you.

I think I've seen this deer before I just can't remember. Does anyone know anything about it? With it being next to a road, maybe it's a city deer. I got it texted to me, but that's all I know. It could be a Colorado deer as far as I know. But I think I've seen it before. Somewhere.

Thanks for posting the link. I knew I saw it somewhere. It looks like I even commented in the thread.

I'm a little like muledeerarea33. I haven't had a cable bill ever. It's not that I can't afford it, it's the idea of another monthly bill I don't like. I'm not a cheap bastard, just don't like paying bills. 20 years on my own and never a cable bill. I have phone and data with the company I work for or otherwise I wouldn't have data.

I'm glad they found the last corpse. The family can have closure. I thought it would take much longer.

Coyote trapping on my own property
Saguaro replied to Non-Typical Solutions's topic in Predator Hunting and Trapping
Yep, that one is still a mystery............and there are some pretty sketchy home owners out that direction......I live on the west outskirts of city limits.....not to say we don't have some out that direction either!!! Good. That is a much better place. I've watched a friends house out that direction and felt real safe. -

I hope you don't live out there with the crazy weirdos. There was a lady named June Goodman that went missing out there maybe 15 years ago. I always wonder if they will find out more about that. -
The only way people learn is having things like this happen. I was one of them. I wasn't caught in a flood, but I was surrounded by lightning one time. I really thought I was going to get hit. There were about 6 of us on a trail working for the Forest Service. It would rain on us every day. One day the lightning came and didn't leave for 30 minutes. I know it hit several places about 100 feet away from us. One of the scariest situations in my life. Since then, I watch storm clouds developing wherever I go and make a mental plan to leave if they grow too big.

I like it. It's only because it's funny. If it was of a thin lady, I'd say take it off because those are too redneck for me. Leave it on, don't add anymore decorations or decals of any sort or it would be a bit much. Well done!

I feel the internet is to blame. Before the internet, people would hunt and kill whatever they could, and be proud of it. Now everyone has to one up each other. I'm just as guilty. I waited 20 years for an early Bull permit and finally got one. I looked at nothing but big bulls for years on the internet and elsewhere. I thought it was my turn for one. Didn't happen. Now I'm going to hunt and take a decent buck/Bull and feel great about it. They may not win any contests, but if they do, great. My attitude had to change.

Dead Bull walking for sure. At least he has a few months left.

This topic really bugs me. It seems like it's a fight that should be easy to win. We as humans are supposed to learn from our mistakes. This is an in your face mistake that is tolerated. Think about all of our rivers in the state that are taken over with Tamarack or salt cedar, what ever they're called. They will never be the same. It would be so easy to get rid of these non native horses yet we don't. SO stupid it's embarrassing. I wish I could do something. The southwest is the last paradise we are going to see. Look at everything east of the Mississippi, it's a populated wasteland. We need to protect the southwest much better. You're right, the salt river looks like an unmaintained corral.

I've always liked Rich Williams. He's a good voice for Sportsman.

Allowing feral horses is the most backwards wildlife management practice out there. They need to get rid of them. I suppose I'm going to get labeled a horse hater now, or a bigot.

If they're China knifes, which they probably are, about $8 a piece. USA about $50 a piece.
