So you've been there too?? I have been traveling and working in India for years, and everytime I go back I am reminded of the madness on the roads. Simply can't explain it to someone who hasn't experienced it. The interesting part though, is that think Indian drivers are quite good. It's the traffic laws and 'norms' of the road there that are CRAZY!! I've often told my friends over there that if you took a bunch of American drivers and put them on the roads of Mumbai (or any other city in India) that there would be total and complete gridlock! As crazy as it is, somehow the drivers there keep things moving. S. I lived in the Philippines for 2 years... Driving there and surviving is a miracle in and of itself... I remember once watching a tricycle try cutting off a bus... Lesson 1: If the vehicle is BIGGER than you... You will die... Tricycle got taken out by the bus.. It's not uncommon to see a dozen or more of the locals on a tricycle. Once saw a bundle of 24' coconut lumber being transported on a trike. Traveled across Palawan on a 1 1/2 ton jeep transport, just a little larger than the jeepneys. Was designed for maybe a dozen troops, there were over 70 of us on board not counting the goats, chickens, water barrels, bananas.... Half of us were on the roof. At each hill we had to climb down and help push the old jeep up the grades. Was not legal to ride on the roof, so in towns, the driver simply threw a tarp over 3 dozen of us up top and slipped the traffic cop a hundred pisos (less than $1.50) to look the other way. Fun times, but was nearly killed on many occasions. FOr those of you wondering what a jeepney and tricycle is

I remember traveling by bus from Tuguegarao (part of Cagayan Valley) to Cauayan City, Isabela and watching a bus in front of us literally rollover into a rice field. LOL We always rode on the roofs of the Jeepneys or Tricycles

^^^ This no matter where you are there are horrible drivers everywhere.. On a side note they really need to ban texting and driving ASAP!! Also dont get me started on people driving in the carpool lane with out any passangers.. I take I-10 home at 3:30 pm and man people are jabroni's when it comes to that. How about the jabroni's who ride the yellow center lane to try and cut in at the very front ?? how about the guy that uses the word "jabroni" in his everyday life How bout the guy who has never heard the word "jabroni" in his life? XD

Oh you must be driving in Flagstaff? Hate drivers here in Flagstaff... They have no sense of planning ahead while driving... And no common sense..... Today had a motorcycle pass me on the SHOULDER of I-40 while texting!! SERIOUSLY?! If y'all hear about an idiot motorcyclist dying in an accident it was that guy....
-
Correction: Thats a lesson in common sense...

Long Story Short: I posted the picture of the T-boned Ford Ranger like a month ago, Insurance is finally considering it totaled and giving me $3600 compensation. I would love to replace it with another Ford Ranger stick shift. 4WD would be awesome, though not required. Extended cab would also come in handy, again not required. Anyone have any leads on where I can find one for sale? Keeping in mind I still need to fax in a salvage title for Mater before they send the check. Thanks in advance guys! Just thought I would get my neck out there looking.

That $3200 is right in the price range. I'll check that out. Thanks!

Oh forgot to add I live in Flagstaff.

The only part I am quoting really is the LBGTAT part... isnt it sad this world has gone so far politically correct that that abbreviation just keeps getting longer? Pretty soon that is going to encompass all freaks of nature XD

Republican. 1) Get the job done right. 2) Get the job done fast. Democrat 1) Dont work. 2)Still get paid. 3) Use welfare paid by Republicans taxes to buy Tbone steaks.

I realize this could be potentially top secret information, but where abouts did you get that trail cam pic of that elk? His rack looks an awful lot like a pair of antlers my buddy and I found up here in Flagstaff on Anderson Mesa. I'd have to find a picture real fast again though. my avatar pic is a 19a bull. Welp... Never mind then... lol Wy

What do you think? Got T-boned on my way to work the other day, not at fault. I have it in at the Body Shop with the other guy's insurance taking care of it. I started worrying about whether they would just consider it "totaled." And just send a compensation check or whatever. Really hope it doesnt come to that, as I love this truck and its fun driving What do you all think? Is it going to end the way I want?
