Well got home late last night.we didn’t tag out but I had lots of fun with all my girls. We hunted hard in a tough unit. Lots of snow and memories were made and lots of new friends like Bob and Joe who came out to helped glass. We came across 8 bulls 7 on the last day. Just couldn’t get close enough to close the deal. We got with in 800 yards of a monster 7x8 on the last day just couldn’t make it happen. One thing I can say is that my girls hunt as hard as anyone and they will have the knowledge to carry on a legacy and show there kids what I have show them. I truly love my girls and they make me a proud father and husband Thanks to all of you guys that lend a hand and gave advise. Hope to see you all next year.

Well gents just got back yesterday from my daughters first bull hunt in 22N. My buddy and his dad also had tags so we all went together. It was a tough year and had to deal with some in unethical hunters. Found a lot of nice bulls day before the opening of the season but as you all know after the first shot they all run and hide. We had a couple of nice 7x7 picked out but someone had them set aside for some clients I guess. It only took 12 shots to kill one of them. My daughter was bummed but thats hunting. She kept her head high and pushed on and it payed off her and my buddys dad killed theirs on the third day and my buddy on the last day. This is one proud dad she not only help quarter him out she packed two of them on her own. For any of you that hunt that unit you know what I am talking about. It was a good year for her first hunts she killed a mule deer in the kibab also wow and we just found out she is going to graduate high school a year early with honors yeah!

I like that. She did the right thing I don’t know if I would react the same way when I was her age. She is a remarkable young lady.

I feel the same some people just don’t have a concept on what it really takes to hunt time behind the trigger to scouting out animals. The just pay the fee and take the picture. I don’t know how those guides do it I would loss my mind and take the gun from them .

I can say how proud I am of my wife and daughter. They went into a unit they never been In Idid some scouting for them and gave them a few places to look the first day they passed on a bunch of spikes and fork n horns. They seen a couple 4x4 and 3x3. But they ere unable to get them. On Sunday my wife called a said she shot a deer I walked them through how to gut and skin because I could not be there due to work. She did it all with out no complaints. On sunday my daughter filled her tag after passing in a few deer I guess she found the one that she wanted lol. She shot a 3x3 that had 27" spread and was a very nice deer for her first. Those girls made me proud and I was impressed with what they did. Thanks to all that help on the this site. I would like to thank the two hunters that help them finish the skinning and let them hang the dee at their camp. My wife's deer was a non tipical 5x4 also a nice deer.
